I had wanted the version for windows 7 but received this product for earlier versions of window instead. Therefore, I cant use it and hope to return it for a refund.

Took a chance on this product, not many music programs left these days. The cd ripping and burner seemed to work ok, but everything else in the box had a 2 week warranty on it, meaning it was no good after 2 weeks as all the programs were trial issue. The only thing of value for the $32 I spent was the burner/copier. I would not recommend buying this facade, as it is just advertising to get you to buy more of whats inside. Scammed again.

Great deal and price I had a computer crash and have used Roxio for a long time and could not find it in most stores and if I did the price was out of sight so I found it here and at a good price as usual this is a good place to find what I need. Grumpy

This product was not compatible with the video files that I wanted to burn onto a DVD. The online product support was very lame. Ultimately, I was told I needed to upgrade to a much more expensive Roxio product in order to achieve compatibility with the video files that I wanted to burn. I wasnt offered a refund or a discount on the new product, which I ended up purchasing nonetheless.

I often read product reviews but until now Ive never written one myself. This pathetic excuse for software has finally given me the inspiration to do so. These guys did a really bad job of testing their software before releasing it. Its obviously not ready. After installing it the first time, I did manage to make two CDs but that was after two failures and one of the CDs that it did make caused my system (and my wifes) to crash. I never did get the Creator Classic to work. It gave me a failed API message whenever I tried to run it. I took Roxios advice and reinstalled the SW, but that didnt work. I went to Roxios website but there is no mention of this SW. There were some support solutions that were posted for their other SW so I tried those, but they didnt help. I downloaded a utility to see what was going on in my computer when I tried to run Creator Classic. The problem was the SW couldnt find a couple of files that should have been placed in one of the Roxio subdirectories by the installation program. Thinking that my anti-virus SW was messing up the installation, I reinstalled it again with my AV stuff turned off. The result was Creator Classic didnt give me the failed API message but it would immediately terminate itself. Perhaps the SW would install right if I had done a custom installation, but Im not going to waste any more of my time on this peice of junk. I just wish I had read some of the other reviews before buying this product from a store.

Roxio has always made a good product and this is no exception. The product does all it says . I enjoy making CDs so I dont have my original cds in the car. If some one gets away with a burnt CD ,I still have the original ! Good easy to understand software.

Instant garbage. Not worth the hassle of returning. Roxio a fine software manufacturer, no longer makes or supports this version.

Ive been working with computers since the early 90s. I have many VHS, VHS-C, and Hi 8 tapes. Recently I began to convert these tapes to digital files. I first purchased a $25 video capture device with DVD software (a somewhat antiquated software system) on Amazon. I have the latest Windows 10 updates on my 250 GB SSD laptop. In brief, this device did not work. I returned it to Amazon. I next purchased a more expensive and different (and presumably a better) video capture device at Frys Electronics. This also had DVD software. In brief, it worked a short while, then malfunctioned. In fact, it caused my computer to crash not once but twice! This seldom happens with a good working Windows 10 OS. I knew that there was a serious software problem. Apparently, many of these companies fail to update their OLD software. I then decided to purchase Roxio Easy VCR to DVD Conversion on Amazon. Roxios software is downloaded online, which is better than DVD software. Roxio worked for a few days just fine, then it mysteriously failed to recognize the video signal on both my VCR and Camcorder. I have a good working Mitsubishi VCR and Minolta Camcorder. I uninstalled the Roxio software and reinstalled it, and then restarted my computer. Again it failed to recognize the video signal from both my VCR and Camcorder. I then concluded that the video capture device must have broken. In my opinion, the best way to convert analog tapes to digital files is to BYPASS THE COMPUTER. There are analog-to-digital devices on the market that circumvent the computer. I hope my review helps you avoid the pitfalls and myriad problems I have had with this lousy technology! PS: Roxio installed software that was extremely difficult to remove. I had to use Search Everything to remove all of Roxios software. Moreover, Roxio surreptitiously opened my microphone. What was that all about?

I havent used this progam a lot but from my experience so far it is not impressive in the least bit... I tried to create a dvd from home video and for some reason it will not burn it to dvd...The programs have a lot of whistles and bells but if you cant burn your project to dvd or cd it really doesnt do any good unless you just want to store it on your computer. Considering this software is for cd and dvd burning that is what one person would expect it to do.. No bang for your buck here it is a good thing that it didnt cost much!!!
