This is a true hard brush. Its also perfect for shower brushing and 360 wash and styles because its not made of wood. Its REALLY HARD tho, so if your tender headed stay away from this one. The dark navy blue Torino would be a better option for a hard brush for you, although its not made for shower brushing

This brush was a must have for me! If you are a waver or you take pride in your hair I would suggest this brush in your rotation. Trust me when I say wash days will never be the same.

Great shower brush, even though the directions say not to submerge in water, I have submerged to do a wash and style method. Months later brush still holding strong. I have other brushes that I use to style with but by far this is the best wolfing and shower brush (I have two of the same brushes). No pushing hard on your brush strokes needed, these bristles will get to your scalp with no problem.
