The USB Hub does the job. I like that i can turn on an off a specific port whenever. I use this with a KVM switch and it works great. It did die on my but I think it was caused by the KVM switch. The company happily replaced the product after a short technical investigation and now I have a new product (without the switch) working perfectly. Great product overall and it does the job.

This USB hub was exactly what I needed for my night stand. Two of the port have on/off switches which is nice. Now I can charge my iPad, iPhone and earbuds conveniently.

Got this USB 3.0 powered hub so I could connect several devices and take advantage of the USB 3.0 speed. So far it works as advertised. Ill stress test it by hooking up multiple external USB 3.0 drives and transferring large files between them (my original reason to get the hub). May be compute limited before the hub limits kick in though.

Got what I ordered. Came 1 day early. Works as advertised.

I am able to hook up some usb devices and keep them hooked up now. All of them: printer, camera, face lamp, scanner work well.

I bought this to have an extension for my external internet card so it wouldnt be loose and hanging out to where it would get bumped. Honestly, I wish I would have got it sooner. It grips well to the male usb allowing no wiggle room. It stays in the computer usb port better than anything else Ive ever put in and completely eliminated the disconnection issues Id been having. It feels solid and I like the ability to turn off and on different usb ports rather than have to disconnect things, although I do wish the blue lighting was less blindingly bright.
