Slides into groove on awning tube on the rv and stakes to the ground. If the wind comes up it rolls up with the awning to prevent wind damage. You can still see through it and provides some relief from the sun. My wife, who has had skin cancer, really likes it for our lake vacation spot. It is working well so far and is made of good quality materials.

The first shade we purchased was too long, we had no problem returning it for a shorter one. It is excellent quality, does the job keeping the sun out, stands up to windy conditions and is very durable.

Hard to install just due to size but not their fault. This was the best thing we bought for our high sun camping spot. Would buy again. Worst part is that it doesn’t allow wind to blow in so it gets warm…..but it keeps the direct Sun from burning you. We put a nice shop fan and keep the breeze

Best purchase ever! We just spent two weeks at our favorite lake spot and this was worth every penny! I was initially skeptical and worried about it causing issues with our awning during a windy/stormy period but much to my surprise it actually helped stabilize the awning. It kept the awning tethered so it wouldn’t fly up all of the time. Plus, it cut some of the wind that would have otherwise lifted the awning. It still let some of the breeze through. The bungee tethers had just enough for some movement to keep it from ripping but Was completely secure. Previously our awning wouldn’t provide enough shade until almost two in the afternoon but with the shade sail it knocked out enough sun we could use our patio area all day long. The sunrise was perpendicular to our awning which made for beautiful sunrises but would cause a glare across the water. The sun shade helped cut the glare as well. It created a little more privacy from those across the water but didn’t block our view by any means. I like the sturdiness of the material. It seems like it will last. Our awning is 14 ft wide x 7 ft tall (give or take a couple inches)from the track to the ground. We ordered the 13ft x 9ft. The width lined up perfectly with the awning and the height was perfect. The 9 ft height allowed us to pitch the shade sail To keep us from feeling like we were closed off. We got plenty of rain and the rain ran off like a charm. It acted like a rain chain on gutters almost. It guided the water off the awning down to the ground so it didn’t splash off the side like normal. It won’t stop the rain but it did shield the patio area a little. Recommended to everyone at our campground!

Guess I should have looked closer. This is a one piece unit and does not have a zipper to remove the body like others. Not what I wanted. Looks to be good quality if you want a one piece to install/remove all the time.

The screen is made well, was easy to put on and instantly dropped the temperature under our awning. The strong part well have to cut part of it to fit right, but aside from that it fits perfectly.

30 second install and I could MANY great applications BUT....... its tuff to park under without having to drive t-posts into the ground to give the height needed. Fairly thin screen mesh material but feels very durable. I havent tried to roll it up completley into my unit awning housing but I have rolled em in about half way during higher winds and no issues so far. I ended up buying a portable car port so Ill just keep this for a different use.

As others said, this was easy to install. I absolutely love the shade it provides. The quality is terrific and I like the carrying case. I bought Coghlans Heavy Duty steel tent stakes at a local Walmart store ($2.24 each) that I also like. They are super sturdy and yet come out easy. I also bought the Tentproinc side shade which adds to our shade during this heat wave. By the way, my tablecloth is oil cloth which is super for the outdoors!
