NEVER hook up your RV to any shore water without a filter for undissolved solids. These types of filters wont do much for dissolved solids or biologics in the water (as Project Farm ably demonstrated on youtube; get an RO for that part: https://amzn.to/3CtSANN), but you may be surprised at how much sand and crud these filters will catch.

Functions as it should. Good first step to filtering potable water. Good value when you purchase the 4 pack. Quick shipping .

I picked these inline water filters up for my next camping season. Its comparable to the name brand filters at half the cost. I figured why not try it. Ive also used the Walmart branded filters compared to name brand and dont really notice much of a difference. I never drink the water from the campground so these water filters are primarily for protecting my water lines, water pump and fresh water tank from impurities.

Fast shipping. Individually wrapped. On the filter is a sticker with a spot to write in the date of install. Or you can mark it with the change out date. It was easy to change out old for new. Water is back to tasting good in the camper.

Only use on cold water side under sink to filter before using a Zero filter for drinking. These filters work well but run somewhere between 155 and 178 ppm of solids before the Zero filter. This does go down to o contaminates. Beats drinking bottled water.

I use this on my intake hose when filling my water tank in my van. The water tastes better, NSF listing gives peace of mind, and the low price makes it easy to replace at the recommended 3 month interval.
