RV Roof Vent Fan 6-Speed-Reversible

> 24 hourThe vent was very easy to install. Sealing the sides is something I have been more concerned about even though it did sit nice and flush. I used silicon and RV tape on top of it to ensure that it doesnt leak during a down pour. Overall the fan sounds quiet and it works like it should.

> 24 hourWe needed a new roof vent fan for our RV and with a little searching we found this RV Roof Vent Fan 6-Speed-Reversible unit with the features we wanted and the price point was just right.

> 24 hourThis fan was easy to install where our existing bathroom fan was. There are two wires, black and white and matched what our old fan was. The fan is relatively quiet and moves a lot of air. The reverse function is especially good for clearing out hot air when the trailer was closed up. There are five speeds to choose from. The two lowest speeds are incredibly quiet. Just make sure you seal around the new fan as soon as it’s installed.

> 24 hourGreat replacement roof vent, its all plastic but well made. The black know raises or lowers the vent. The fan is quiet and lightweight. Has a screen to prevent bugs from flying in. This screen just has to be twisted off to remove and clean.

> 24 hourI liked that this is less than1/2 the cost of a Fantastic Fan. $199 at time of review. It comes with 6 speeds. (Really more than you need.) Great poor mans RV air-conditioning. Works both as inhaust and exhaust. My install replaces an unpowered vent so this is an upgrade. Lucky me, I can splice into a light switch 2 inches away! Build quality looks good. My old fan cracked immediately, this looks sturdier.

> 24 hourThe factory vent on my RV was so brittle that the screen kept cracking, and I needed to use tape to hold up the screen were the tabs had broken off. The suns heat coming through the clear (well, crazed and a little yellowed) dome made the bathroom uncomfortable. In addition to all that, it was very loud. This one has a tinted dome that knocks down some of the heat, is made from a heavier plastic throughout, and the fan has multiple speeds – all of them quieter than what I had. Installation was easier than I thought, getting the old sealant tape off with a putty knife was probably the hardest part of the job. After that, it just drops in, screws in, and new tape is applied. The trim goes in from the bottom, and the wires get connected – done. It has a switch for the speeds - which I like - no remotes to lose, misplace, or get dead batteries. And did I mention that it is quiet?
