We have such hot summer weather here in Nevada that I was excited to give these a try. So far have worked for us and we continue to use them. RV friends have asked where we got them and have been interested in getting for themselves. We Highly Recommend.

What most people dont know is that for most trailer tires, their ultimate demise is more often caused by exposure to the suns UV rays that actually wearing the tread out. UV rays cause the tire to dry out and rot which can cause the tire to fail catastrophically on the road. That said, anything one can do to prevent exposure to the suns rays is a good thing. I purchased these tire protectors because I liked the design which includes a flat bottom and eyelets that allow one to bungee cord the cover to the tire. They fit the 15 tires on our boat trailer perfectly and the material theyre made out of looks and feels thick enough to block most of the suns rays. The only thing youll have to worry about is how long it will take the sun to dry out the covers - which are certainly less expensive than new tires.

This is my initial impression of these covers. I’ll update this review in a few weeks after installing and using them for a while. For the money ($25ish for two) these are very good covers that I think will work well for at least a 3-5 years. There is a wire inserted into the inside and outside perimeter of the cover to help it keep its shape when installed. There is also an elastic arc at the top of the inside of the cover (see photo). The 12.5” bungee cord with end hooks will fit into the metal grommets to secure the cover. This should work well, but the bungee cord is pretty stiff. It extends fairly easily to 18” though and this should be plenty. The material is a little “crinkly” - not smoothly pliable. I feel like this could lead to cracking down the road, but we’ll see. The other (minor) drawback is that I’m not a big fan of advertising on most products, but I think these will grow on me. The elements (particularly sun) can damage your tires. Using these when the camper is parked for a while might keep you from having tire trouble (cracking) before they’re ready to be replaced. Certainly worth the price.

I am pleased with these tire covers. We park our camper in an RV port, but the sun still hits the lower part of the camper, exposing the tires to the sunlight. These covers are just the product to protect those tires from the damaging effects of the sun. They look terrific and fit the tires well. Im confident they will last for many years to come. The fabric is heavy enough to stand up to the rigors of the outdoors. There are Bungie cords included for keeping the covers securely in place even in the wind. I recommend these RV tire covers.

There fit perfectly on all 4 tires of my keystone outback camper. They cover the tires well while it is stationary and will hopefully prolong the lifespan of the tires.

I put these on my 2 sunny side tires in less than 5 minutes including the learning curve. I’m going into winter right now so there is not the intense summer sun. I’ll update this review if they weather away soon.
