Was exactly what we needed

Im glad I found out I was supposed to replace this once a year in my travel trailer hot water tank. The old one was completely gone, and this was easy to replace. Be sure to get the sprayer nozzle for cleaning out your tank, it makes the job a lot easier, especially if you tank is full of calcium and sediment. Pictured is the old one I removed compared to the new one installed.

Installed with ease; anode rod looks well made; haven’t had a chance to take RV out since installation. Will try to remember to do a follow up after a couple of uses.

Bought it for the magnesium, for use as a fire staring aid. Scraping shavings off, works great. Cheap source for this camping and bushcraft staple.
