> 3 dayI just bought another one of these bags, the same one I had that I purchased back in 2016. I had to replace it because the zipper broke- the zipper is very well-made. It was actually my fault. I don’t like cheaply made items, and I am usually pretty cautious about things I buy from Amazon, because quite frankly, a lot of sellers make crappy products that are not designed to last. This bag is not that at all- it is so well made for the price and is such a steal. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on this bag, and again, I like it so much that I felt compelled to buy the exact same one again. The one before lasted me nearly 8 years, and I used it for travel all over the country and outside of the country. You won’t be disappointed. Original review from 2016-2017: Beautiful bag for the price. Very sturdy and heavy-weighted; thick canvas material and real leather. It arrived with a small fray in one of the pockets, but the seller was really awesome and quickly sent me a replacement bag free of charge

> 3 dayThis bag appears to be very durable, but it doesnt seem quite as sleek or practical as Id thought from the description and some of the other reviews. First things first. The bag looks like it will last. My previous bag failed in two ways: the zipper jammed and started to tear away from the rest of the bag, and the piece of plastic and cloth attaching the handles and straps to the bag came apart. This bag looks much better than the other one. I think zippers will always be prone to jamming, but these zippers are nice and big, with metal teeth. The zipper for the main compartment also looks like its attachment to the bag is reinforced. So overall, the zippers look much better. Likewise, the straps and handles are attached to the bag itself not only with rugged-looking stitching, but also with rivets (?) that are probably stronger than the fabric itself. Im expecting this bag to last a long time. If you want to know how it actually stands up, you can ask me in three to five years. Another, more minor detail: the bag has what look like brass feet. (I hope theyre brass, and not copper like the description says, so that they dont turn green.) My old bag had rubber feet, half of which disappeared after a few years of fairly heavy use. This was a minor irritation at worst, but it looks like the new bag will do better. The feet are rounded, so it doesnt seem like theyd catch on anything. The one drawback I can think of is that if you were to drag this through gravel or something, maybe the feet could get scratched and end up with rough edges that could damage a wooden floor or surface. At the moment, though, they seem great. However, the bag is not everything I hoped it would be from the description. Its kind of hard to see from the photos in the description, but there are four loose leather straps hanging off of the bag. They appear to serve no real purpose, and theyre just waiting to get caught in a conveyor belt at the airport, or a car door, or another bags zipper, or . . . you get the idea. I guess you can cinch the buckles to make the bag slightly smaller (and more wrinkly), but for the most part, this seems like something that appears to be functional at first glance but actually serves no practical purpose, and I always find that irritating, to be honest. Its a fairly small detail, but Im planning to use this bag on a daily basis for several years, and details matter when somethings part of your daily life for a long time. And of course the bag has straps and handles that are also waiting to get caught in something, but why add four extra opportunities for this to happen? To be blunt, the bag is also uglier than it appears to be in most of the photos. Maybe it looks better when its really full, but the way Im using it, its wrinkly and floppy. I also think they put too many small pockets in. There are two pretty nice-looking zippers on the outside, but they lead to really small pockets. Another reviewer mentioned putting books in them, but theyre really too small for all but the smallest and slimmest of books. There are two zippered pockets on the inside that together form the sides of an open pocket (yes, its confusing), and two more oddly sized open pockets. Those open pockets on the inside are a little puzzling to me. Unless you have the bag crammed full, it seems like theyd be too loose for a pencil or loose change, and they seem too small for a book or a computers charger cable. Maybe theyre for your extra cell phones, if youre Walter White or something. Id prefer to have one or two simple internal pockets with zippers, and maybe a slightly larger external pocket for a water bottle. The way it is, though, all those medium-small pockets just add bulk for me: seemingly another design decision that looks good superficially, but doesnt actually make the bag better. On a positive note, the weird feature where you clip the bottom of the bag to the D-rings that the strap attaches to does seem well thought out. At first I was worried that this turns the D-rings sideways, which normally causes them to put a lot of concentrated strain on the sleeve containing them. However, in this case, it seems that theyre mainly transferring the strain from the clips on the bottom of the bag to the clips at the end of the strap, without putting significant strain on the leather sleeves holding D-rings in place. Let me return to the overall look of the bag, though. You could argue that the appearance isnt important, or that I should have paid more attention to the words casual life style in the description. However, the description also currently suggests that the bag is suitable for short business travel, and this bag would look ridiculous in a business setting. It would be completely out of place in a formal job interview or in court. If youre going on a personal trip with family or friends, it doesnt matter what your bag looks like, but unfortunately there are times when appearances make a difference. I was a little worried that four stars was too harsh for this bag, since it does appear to be very durable (time will tell) and well thought out in many ways, and the price is very competitive. However, I think that both the written description and the posted photos are slightly misleading (its not as pretty as in the pictures, and not really suitable for business use), and within hours of receiving it, I can already think of a few fairly obvious ways to make the bag better without increasing production costs (remove the pointless dangling leather straps and get rid of some of baroque system of pockets, and maybe make the bag a little stiffer). Although I expect to get a lot of good use from this bag, I dont think Ill buy another one when the time comes for a replacement. So four stars it is.

> 3 dayIMPRESSIVE!!! Due to impressive customer service I have to rewrite my review of this bag. I purchased this bag on 9/22/2015 because a needed a large weekend bag and it looked nice. I checked a lot of the reviews and saw there was a problem with the zipper. During my first trip with the bag the zipper separated from one end. Luckily, if I zip it from the other direction it will zip up properly. I initially gave this item 2 stars because of the zipper issue and I get a lot of cimplinents on the bag. I was past my return date since I was out of the country for 3 weeks and they only give you 30 days to return. After voicing what happened the company reached out to me and said they wanted to replace the bag or give me a refund. I opted for replacing because I really like the style of the bag, it can truly fit enough clothe for a weekend. The zipper issue was unfortunate but the impressive and responsive customer service overshadows that defect. My new bag and zipper works great the zipper on the new bag moves freely. This company has great customer service and I would definitely buy from them again. Thanks and I hope this helps the next person trying to buy.

> 3 dayI needed a larger bag for travel and the messenger bag I normally use does not fit my laptop, tablet, chargers and clothes together. This bag is large enough for a weeks worth of clothes and my laptop, tablet chargers, a book and more. There are two zippered pockets, one on each side, on the outside for quick access. There are two zippered pockets on the inside lining as well as places for pens, deodorant, chargers, and other small extras. The canvas is well stitched with the leather accents. The leather handles are comfortable to carry for long treks through multiple airport terminals. The shoulder strap is adjustable length and has multiple places to clip the strap, top of bag opening and towards the bottom up bag. This bag is perfect for my needs. There are multiple color choices to suit most preferences.

Greater than one weekGot this for my dad because it occurred to me he wouldn’t think to buy this for himself, but he really could use a bag for a short work trip, carrying odds and ends to gigs, etc. good carry on size, easy to support on one shoulder, great rich looking materials, and fits a ton! The canvas/leather combo gives it a rugged but refined look and allows for some wear and tear. He couldn’t stop examining it/testing it out when I gave it to him, which told me I did a good job. Buy one!

> 3 dayI purchased this in a rush for a business trip. Honestly, it was my first business trip and being flown out as a respresentative for my company was an opportunity that I was proud of being trusted with so I wanted to have something nice to best represent myself. This was my favorite color and a good price. I was admittedly worried it would fall apart, but I stuffed the bag far more than in the pictures above and it held very firm throughout every point of the trip and still does as of 7/11/22. The bag is also very deep where at the relatively full level you see in the picture, if I were to stick my hand in and touch the bottom, it would go all the way up to my elbow. There are around 4 zipper/pouches and multiple cloth pouches and holders in the bag for extra storage. I would recommend this. It looks great and comes as advertised.

> 3 dayThis is a great bag with a lot of pros and only a few drawbacks. First the pros. This bag is incredibly spacious. In fact, it held so much that I was afraid I wouldnt be able to bring it as a carry-on on my most recent flight. Fear not, even when fully packed, this bag fits in the overhead bin. The bag also seems to be well made--not just for the money, but actually well made. It does not feel like its going to fall apart anytime soon. Additionally, the zippers were strong and sturdy, even when filled to the max. The only drawback for me was the strap. I loved the color of the bag and the accent leather, but I was a little confused by the addition of a green cloth strap. Its not too big of a deal though. If you prefer leather (which I do) you can buy a leather strap on Amazon for less than twenty bucks. In the future, Id love to buy an expensive bag that I can use for the rest of my life. Until then, this bag will fill in quite nicely.
