Sabrent really outdid themselves with this drive. Its made an enormous impact on some of the games that take forever to load, otherwise. I installed this as a replacement for a standard SSD when it died unexpectedly. I paired this up with the heat sink by Sabrent and immediately noticed an enormous difference in performance. Given the long life of this product, the price point, and the capabilities. I couldnt be happier.

The drive comes in a nice little package and runs at the advertised speed. It’s has only been a couple of months, but everything is operating smoothly.

Im extremely happy with my purchase of the SABRENT 2TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. Its a beast of a drive that delivers blazing-fast performance and plenty of storage space for all my games and files. It was easy to install on my motherboard that supports PCIe 4.0, and it came with a free cloning software that helped me transfer my data from my old drive. The SABRENT Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 SSD has an impressive sequential read speed of up to 5,000 MBps and a sequential write speed of up to 4,400 MBps, which is much faster than any SATA or PCIe 3.0 SSD Ive ever used. It also has a high endurance rating of up to 3,600 TBW, which means it will last me for years without any degradation or failure. The drive looks sleek and stylish with its black PCB and gold sticker, and it comes with a 5-year warranty if you register it online within 90 days of purchase. I also like that it supports NVMe 1.3 protocol, SMART and TRIM functions, and firmware updates. The SABRENT Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 SSD is hands down the best SSD Ive ever owned, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their PC or laptop with a fast, reliable, and high-capacity drive.

I built my PC back in late February, and for that time this SSD was really good. Fastest boot times Ive ever had in a computer, great game load times, It performed super well all around. Then in late october, my PC randomly blue screened and turned off. When I tried to turn it back on, it would not boot. Then I got an error saying the boot drive cannot be found. After troubleshooting, I determined the SSD was dead. I then contacted Sabrent Support, which responded to me after 2 days, which isnt bad. However, Sabrents support website and service is straight up awful, and my first response from support asked me to turn the PC on and download Rocket Control Panel, which I obviously couldnt do because the SSD was dead. I replied to the email, and didnt receive a response for another 3 days. Finally, I get a response from support asking me to follow up on the initial response, warning the case will be automatically closed. Wondering what was going on, I replied again, and 2 days later I got enough response saying they are closing the ticket because they couldnt get in touch with me. This is when I realized that in order to contact Sabrent, I would have to make a new ticket EVERY SINGLE TIME I replied to an email because their website doesnt have a reply feature either! I probably made like 7 new support tickets. On the bright side, I did get a replacement SSD which arrived in December, a little over a month later. Since december it has been working, though I bought a Samsung 970 Pro to replace it as my boot drive since I wasnt waiting for a month to use my PC, so it is now my gaming drive mainly. I talked to a few people who had a similar experience as me, so it seems that its somewhat common. I cant recommend this SSD because of this, please take your money elsewhere, as I feel like Sabrent has some sort of QC issues.

This thing is nuts. Crazy fast. Im not running bench marks or anything, but I loaded Windows 10 on it and Ive never seen a system boot up so fast. Blows my mind every time. Im used to waiting a while and then getting into windows and then its still thinking for a while. This one is just zap! Done! Very cool. Only game Ive installed is Diablo 3, all my other games will be on steam and are waiting for another sabrent NVME M.2 drive, this time PCIE 3.0 QLC 2tb. Diablo 3 runs great. Ive had bad luck w SSD drives connected by SATA. They just dont work or die early. My firecuda 2tb hybrid ssd drive could never even be detected, was causing electrical problems, blinking rgb lights or computer turning off, so forget it. I ordered another sabrent nvme drive for my other m.2 slot, about the cheapest 2tb NMVE one for games PCIE 3.0, because now I trust that they work, not the fastest of its kind but super fast. I dont trust SSD and mechanical drives are too big and slow and louder, so Im paying some more for what I know will work. Should not improve gaming too much from what I hear, maybe loading times idk, I just need it to work and didnt want a mechanical drive. Done with SSDs connected by SATA chords. Plugging storage straight to the motherboard now. I have a ROG Strix-E motherboard so it has thermal pads w fan and covering to cool both m.2 drives already. Should be fine. Sabrent is a brand Ive only now heard of. If these two drives continue to impress me like the first one has so far, for the last few weeks, and not crap out right away, I will really trust and recommend Sabrent drives in the future. So far so good!

This SSD has been an excellent piece of new custom built PC (Dec.2020) The performance is remarkable, of course just about most NVMe SSDs would be amazing, when coming from an old custom built PC (Sept.2012) After 3 months of use, the benchmark shows that this SSD rocks! Make sure youre using a motherboard with PCI Express 4.0 capability. I would recommend this SSD to anyone who wants amazing performance, and that they can afford it. Its newer technology, and the price is reasonable for it. I use this drive as my main OS drive (of course, lol) The boot time for Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is very fast, in just under 30 seconds! Ive listed my system specs below. - AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16 Core CPU - 128 GB Gskill DDR4 3200 RAM - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master Motherboard - Sabrent 2 TB NVMe PCI 4.0 SSD (boot drive) - No point in listing other disk drives - Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT GPU (Was very hard to find) - Be Quiet Case (Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2) - Be Quiet 1200W PSU

This drive was worked very good for 3 years but it started causing crashing issues about 3 years in to its life and I have been forced to replace it. When I made this purchase it was $180 for a 1TB Drive, which I expected to last longer than it did.

Instant boot up with Windows 11 in less than 5 seconds. Loads Fallout 4 like it was nothing when Vsync is disabled.
