Greater than one weekI got these awhile ago just to have in case since the world isnt getting any better out there. Got to always be on your toes. I like that these came in a 3pack because they also make good gifts if you only need one to use. I recommend testing all 3 when you get them just in case one is defected... Because I didnt realize that the one I gave my sister was... then I had a shameful and guilty feeling knowing I sent her out in the world with a defective one that made a low weird noise instead of the annoying alarm sound. Anyways, the other 2 worked, so Im just gonna give her another one. The personal alarms are very cute and unnoticeable to other eyes, which I like. I just put it on my keys and hold the lanyard part whenever Im going somewhere alone or late at night.

> 3 dayThese are adorable and I got them for myself and my sister and my kids. Luckily, I put it on my keychain first. I hadn’t even pulled the clear tab out of it to have it ready to activate. 2 days into it being on my keys, I picked my keys up off my table one morning and the emergency pull cord was lying there, unattached. So I planned to throw the device out on my way to the car. Instead, the clear tab came off while I was on my way to the dumpster and the noise is SO shrill and loud and there was no way to stop it or even muffle it. I threw it on the ground and stomped on it as hard as I could and it crushed but continued the piercing siren, so I sprinted up to my apartment, let myself back in, and threw it into the toilet and shut the lid. It was still sounding when I left again, but dead by the time I got home. I’m glad I was the one to experience this before I gave them to my kids. It was jarring. I’m planning to spend a little more to get ones that don’t fall apart on their own.

> 3 dayI am an elderly woman and love to ride my bicycle on designated bike paths. But sometimes I find myself alone. One time, a very creepy man would not leave me alone. I was trying to figure out how to get away from him without aggravating him. Finally, another biker came by, and I tagged along with him. So, now I carry several self-defense weapons including pepper spray, kubaton, taser and this personal alarm. It makes me feel safer.

> 3 daySmall, cute but freaking loud. We tested it on a whim, in the house. It was louder than a car alarm-- such a HUGE sound from a tiny kitty! Packs a punch and easy to use anwhen needed. needed.

> 3 dayI love the design and how easy it is to use. I feel safer having it with me. I kept 1 and gifted the other 2 and my friends loved it too! I haven’t used it and hopefully don’t have to.
