Bought it to keep my 3 year old from unbuckling her car seat as it is highly unsafe to have a car seat that is not secure. It works amazing for that. Gone are the days we had to pull over every few miles to stop and re-fasten the seatbelt. That said this isnt an outsmart your kid device. Any child with access to a thin object like a key will be able to unfasten it. I dont allow her access to such an object so that is not an issue in my case.

I have a 6 year old autistic son and he likes to put his seatbelts on before leaving and off when I park on his own. He found this contraption and placed it backwards. I had to snug the flattest key in to unbuckle my kid. Fortunately, he didnt lose his mind because the seatbelts wouldnt unfasten and the belt was getting tight.

I purchased this for an individual with disabilities that removes seatbelt with vehicle motion. Very easy to use..releases with sticking key into slot. Total game changer!

The product is well designed and would work for most children. However, my 17 year old daughter (5 tall, 95 lbs) was able to break it and unbuckle her seatbelt, creating a potentially unsafe situation on the highway. Smaller and younger children probably would not be able to break this product, however. I should note that the manufacturer directly refunded my purchase immediately upon hearing about my experience with their product.

We have a boy who has sensory issues and ADHD. He fidgets a lot and we have had issues with him unbuckling in the car. This is super easy to put on and prevents him from unbuckling. Its easy for us to use the car key to unbuckle him when we arrive. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be if the buckle guard had something that would keep it from falling of the seat belt when you unbuckle. It falls off easily and I dont want to lose it.

The lock clip wont close around the strap of the seatbelt.

This is probably my best amazon purchase yet. I have a five year old that keeps unbuckling his seatbelt when he doesn’t want to leave a place. This is super easy to use. I can quickly get it on and buckled before he realizes it. Then I just tell my kid that it can’t come off until I turn the car off and use the car key. Which the car key fits perfectly in the gap to unbuckle the seatbelt.

Works great with my 2019 Toyota Camry, when others didn’t. Keep the jumpy dog from unbuckling my kid!

I read the reviews and saw one that said the buckle cover fits Chrysler Pacifica belts. It does not work on my 2021.
