This product is a great solution for keeping our special-needs child buckled in when were driving in the car. It works great with standard-size seatbelts. My SUV has Fords new air-bag inflatable seat belts in the middle row that has a larger than standard buckle. I unfortunately havent found a lock that will fit those buckles, but this works great in my wifes car or if we use it in the 3rd row of my car which has standard seat belts. You just have to be careful what theyre holding while theyre buckled in as my child has found out how to unbuckle using objects like sun glasses or small toys.

I have autistic 5 year old twins that wouldn’t leave on their seatbelt at all, I switched them multiple car seats and nothing worked until I got these locks they work wonders. The first couple of times they cried a lot but finally got used to them and now understand it’s for safety!

Works great just need to remember to keep keys nearby to unlock. Is a little hard to line up and buckle at times if kid is squirming

This is super easy to install and to use. I just wish the piece would stay in place since I only use it in 1car but people with multiple cars, its super easy to install in any car! My kiddo thought he could get out but he cant!

This safety buckle was a life saver... until the piece got trampled underfoot. I have a 4 year old who tries to get out of his seatbelt, plays with the windows and tries to open the car door when he has a fit. He also especially loves to unbuckle himself just because he can. This seatbelt lock was designed to fit over the top of the regular seat belt with ease, and it can be released with your car key when your ready to get out of the car. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make a piece that latches it to the seatbelt or back of the drivers seat or something when it’s not in use so it doesn’t get lost or stepped on.

My son is SN and likes to unbuckle his seat belt, so I needed to find something. Found this product and its PERFECT! Does the trick, just put it right on top of the click button and all you need is a key to unbuckle. (At first i thought it would be super inconvenient to have to get the key to unlock, but its literally 3 seconds of movement) :) thank you for selling this amazing product!!!

Our 16 year old with special needs had been riding in a car seat for well over 10 years, lately because he couldnt unbuckle it. He started letting us know he was too big for it so we found an alternative to keep him safely buckled. Its simple and effective. Pro tip: lock the seatbelt so your kid cant wiggle themselves out. We keep at least two in the car, one for him and one so we can keep him from unbuckling the loud and complainy one sitting next to him.
