> 3 dayI got two of these hammers, one for each car. I have a friend who insists on opening the car windows and taking off her seat belt, every time she goes over a bridge with water underneath. Im hoping having one of these window hammer/seatbelt cutter devices in my car, will allow us to drive on the bridges in the winter time, without freezing to death. The little hammer point has a silicone cover to make sure it doesnt damage or scratch anything, when youre not using it. I keep it in my center console. Hopefully Ill never need it.

Greater than one weekYes, I was a girl scout, as I grew up, and yes, we too like to be prepared. Since I dont have the type of headrest, on my truck seat, which can be disengaged, & removed from the top edge of the seat, using the prongs that hold it on top of the seat via prongs inserted(yes, those rod....prongs whatever you prefer to call them, can be used in rescueing yourself!) it means I dont have a fool proof way to break the windows in my truck, were I to find myself in deep water, via floods, or via a collision! These car window breakers/seatbelt cutters, in my mind, are very related to insurance! In other words........you do buy it/pay for it, but really true sort of hope, all in all, that you do NOT have to use it. I opted for the pair, because I like having one under my drivers side seat, while the other one is tucked away in my trucks glove box. I havent deliberately tried to use either one, or abuse either one. I did drop one of them on hard concrete, by accident, to no ill effect.

> 3 dayBought these for safety reason. Haven’t had to use them but love how simple they are. Great concept comes with a piece to break the window but also to cut the seatbelt.

> 3 dayAm so glad I have these in my car, one on each side. I hope I never need them, but feel more secure knowing they’re there. Seem sturdy & easy to handle. I chose bright orange so they’d stand out. I consider these “insurance”.

> 3 dayI think this should be mandatory in all vehicles . I watch too many shows where people are trapped in their cars, this will cut you out of a seat belt, break a window & help in an attack I assume

> 3 dayThe Three-in-One Emergency Escape Tool is well made, its safely packed. I tested the cutter, very sharp, it can easily cut the straps of the backpack. The hammer part seems strong enough to break car glass easily. Its cute but sturdy. Its much easier to store in the car then the nail hammer I have used before. I would recommend it just in case you need under any emergency scenario.

Greater than one weekI havent used it yet as I bought it to use in a possible emergency. It has a very heavy head that I believe will be useful for its purpose. Compared to it, the handle is made of a very light material. The fact that it is made in bright colors makes it easier to be seen in a dark storage areas, such as the front compartment of the car. Its great to have two pieces out of the package and to be used in separate cars.

> 3 dayI have seen these in some foreign cars that i have rented. In the event of an accident, you can slice open your seat belt, and break your window to get out. Clearly, will only be used in an emergency situation, but is a small item, easily stored, and a must have. Ive given these to each of my kids, and will get more for my wife and myself. Its an inexpensive thoughtful gift for people you care for. Its well constructed, arrived well packaged and on time.
