Helped make my last trim job install much easier!

The indicator dial is off by about the width of the line markings as shown on my picture. I’m not precise enough in my wood working skills, abilities and equipment to have this matter, but it could easily be made more precise during the dial silk screening process. Since this exact same unit is being under various brand names, if it looks the same - it is, and the fine accuracy will also be off the same. It’s a small compact unit only 7” long when folded. It doesn’t need to be larger. It is sturdy and made from aluminum. It will measure the angle and its corresponding half angle, but with some small error ( that could be easily remedied during manufacturing! ) I contacted Saker and provided my picture and concern about the markings being off. They responded that they won’t comment or look further since I didn’t buy this direct from them and I should contact Amazon. This is not an Amazon issue. It’s a manufacturing quality control issue. Poor lax customer service does not make for good product sources. I previously had higher regards for Saker as a quality brand. If you like this particular saw protractor, I’d suggest looking at all the different brand names of it and then buy the cheapest one.
