Bought this to replace a dead drive in my sisters laptop. One of my coworkers installed the operating system while we were working on other laptops. I was amazed how quickly he gave it back to me. He said there were no problems at all. The storage capacity is more than she will use but the price was very reasonable.

If youre trying to improve the boot up time of your computer and dont want to go for expensive nVME SSDs, then go for it. Becasue it offers reasonably good performace and is a lot cheaper than nvme SSD, even if you go for same brand.

Replaced an old hard drive in 4 year old computer. Installed easily. As it should, my boot up times have been significantly reduced.

This product was like giving a triple bypass to my laptop. Lightning fast boot up, applications open in a flash. Was easy to install and software to clone hard drive was awesome.

I bought a 1TB variant of this Samsung ssd for storing and playing games on it. This is the best sata ssd you can get and if you are confused between this and mx500 Buy mx500 if the budget is restricted the main difference between these two is mx500 comes with 360TBW and 870 evo comes with 600TBW and yes both come with dram. I am using this with USB to SATA case.

Worked great for 6months. Then no longer worked.

What they expect? Got what I paid for. Extends the life of a tired HD. Exactly what I intended. Yipee.

Les modèles EVO jouissent dune excellente réputation qui nest pas usurpée. Le produit est de qualité, et pour en utiliser depuis plusieurs années, je confirme en être très satisfait. Le seul hic... mais commun à tous les disques durs... affiché pour 1 To mais qui en réalité noffre environ que 930 GO de réellement utilisables. A quand la bouteille deau de 1L qui ne contiendra que 75 CL deau ?
