> 24 hourI bought my Evo 870 exactly a year ago to run my xbox one x through it. Initially, the SSD was running amazing but over the summer I noticed that the performance started to slow down but not enough that I had to be concerned about. As November approached my Xbox console started to crash once in a while including loose of save game data, I thought it was a Xbox issue so I ignored it but my mid December my console started to crash almost every day including loose of data, again I thought it was a Xbox issue so I used all their recommended solutions like recovering the console, and power cycling it. The issue still continued which resulted me not gamingon Xbox anymore. I never assumed the issue was with my SSD due to Samsung great reputation in this category but after doing an extensive research I just found out that SSDs are dying faster than other SSDs regardless of which model you are running. For now I have switched back to my old HDD that came with Xbox one x and everything is running fine again. I am in communication with Samsung support via phone call but lets just say they are not understanding my problem properly. I dont have access to a PC so I cant take my SSD out of my xbox and connected with a PC to running their software mitigation program.

> 24 hourThe boc wasnt sealed and when I hooked ut up it had six GPT partitions, three with data on them. I went ahead and installed anyway as I had ripped the box when trying to get the SSD out. I am severly disappointed though that it was used.

> 24 hourIve been doing computers for three decades and this has been the single worst drive I have ever used. I bought it for some external storage for the Xbox, but the system kept losing track of the drive and its contents. Trying several different enclosures on two different machines (Series X and S) made no difference. Then I tried using it for some movie storage, but the file transfer rate was abismal. I read somewhere this specific drive chokes on the transfer of large files. So I began using it for some MP3 storage. The transfer rate was better, but then the contents got locked in a GPT Protective Partition. Seriously. Are you kidding me? Whilst I am well out of the return window, I still FEEL a full refund is due for all this drive has done for me. I dont even know anyone I dislike enough that I might give to.
