I haven’t installed this yet because it was unclear if everything I needed came in the box or not. It comes with the drive and users manual… that’s it. No mounting hardware, no screws, no cables. That’s all fine, I’ve purchased one of these before and it’s been awesome and has been in service for over 6 years. I just need to grab a few more things to install it.

SSD was easy to install in my Lenovo Z710 laptop. Software from Samsung made imaging my old HDD to the new SSD quite easy. All in all, a smooth swap that has led to the laptop response times being phenomenally better than before.

I bought this originally to install in an old iMac computer (but that was useless since the iMac is no longer supported). I will use it for my new Mac Mini external drive ;)
