    I bought this to replace my Samsung 1TB SSD as my main drive as I read these are way faster. It was easy to install and made my gaming machine even faster. 2 TB capacity and Samsung quality to boot. I bought this one as I read the 980s have a lower MTBF. No problems after install.

    Bought a new Thinkpad Carbon X1 8th Gen with 256GB as the 1TB was about $500 more expensive. Used the free Macrium to clone it over, was super-easy. The only difficulty was that Win RE partition was last, so I had to manually drag the four partitions over, making sure the NTFS C: was last. Then used the advanced feature to make use of all the left disk space for the C: drive. Cloning was done in 3 minutes, taking off the five screws on the back of the X1 and then the one screw that holds the HD in place took another 2mins. Downloading and installing Macrium took the longest :)

    Whenever it comes to storage the only name thst comes to mind is Samsung, just like when I buy TV’s too. Installed this in a 2015 MacBook Pro and it’s faster than the standard Apple SSD with little no to heat increase. Definitely loving the smaller OS partition and having the remainder as on board storage! A+++ product
