SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A- 10.1 64GB, Wifi Tablet- SM-T510NZKFXAR Black

Its just like my Note 8, but with a 10.1 screen.

My daughter loves this tablet

Not good. Bought as a refresh to my 2015 iPad 2. The Tab is twice as thick, sluggish, and wouldnt connect using auto IP address. I had to set it manually even though my other devices connect using DHCP. If I present both tablets to a random person, no way they pick the Tab as a 2019 model. I will process a return as soon as I finish this review.

Now this is what Im used to.

I had the older version and upgraded to this version and I love it. The battery life could be a little better but I am playing interactive games on a brighter setting so battery drainage is expected. I find the picture clarity to be worlds better. The screen is better and the new design works really well! So far, so good!

Just very heavy for a tablet

Though its a bit heavier than I figured it would be, this is a great tablet. It fits my needs exactly, which is pretty much using it in the evenings while relaxing on the couch. Its quite fast. It works well with things like Facebook and Twitter, and the pictures it can take are of very good quality. I added a 256GB micro SD card to it for additional storage, though Ive not really had to use that extra storage much as of yet. I just figured it would be better to have it than not, and with micro SD cards being so cheap... again, why not?

get an amazon fire or something similar, this thing was slow out of the box and its really glitchy

Samsung apparently decided to remove the multi-user support and NOT update their manuals or quick-start guide. My guess is they saw it as a threat to people using the Samsung Kids application and paying a subscription fee. Without multi-user support this device is useless to me as a device for my children. Awesome job Samsung.
