This was purchased for my brother to use for online schooling but shortly after arriving we noticed that periodically the screen went blank with lighting only around the edges and there are streaks of lines running down to screeen. We havent been able to use and will be sending it back, hopefully we can another that works well.

Perfect upgrade fromy kindle fire. Powerful and volume is fabulous over fire. . Battery doesnt last as long I I wished tho. About 6 hours of video. Touch screen is very sensitive and on spot. Love this tablet!

I was really hopeful that the Samsung A7 tablet would be a good buy. Unfortunately, not. My tablet constantly locks up, drops internet connection and requires restarting several times a day. I have learned that I might as well completely shut the thing down if Im not using it for more than just a few minutes, because it doesnt like being woken up and will require a restart anyway. Battery life is poor. Just reading news articles, without videos, drains the battery more than 1% per minute! My battery dropped over 5% just doing this review.

I bought two of these and BOTH of their batteries have swelled to the point that the screen has detached from one, and the other is bent and ready to fall out. Both are dead due to this. I cant even get them repaired at an authorised repair center in the area! I am really really unhappy about this. To have two out of two fail, and at the same time, and to have no repair available is a rip off in my humble opinion. Guess I should have bought the insurance, but as I said, not even the local authorised samsung service center will touch them...

I have an iPad Air2 and decided to switch. Having received the tablet and used it over a 24 hour period, I realised its iPad all the way. The tablet works fine, but its just not for me.

I have owned every Pixel tablet from Google and 4 Samsung tablets. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A which I like very well. The A7 is a big disappointment. I read other reviews about poor color and brightness and figured Id try for myself. I tried it and returned it. If you havent used other tablets you wont know the difference. If you are an experienced tablet user skip this Samsung tablet.
