The tab s8 plus finger print sensor is nolonger at the power button and instead its under the screen like old phone and other devices. A huge disappointment. Was one of the best feature on the tab s7. Still its a great tablet but i regret selling my tab s7 for the tab s8 plug. I love the finger print sencor at the power button

Excellent picture quality. It is great for streaming movies. You can also download movies from your favorite source (Netflix, Prime, Hulu etc.) and watch them when there is no wi-fi. I use this to watch movies on long flights, and when visiting relatives.

This is a nice tablet. It boots up fairly quickly, the battery life is good, the charging time is reasonable. The screen is very clear and the sound is very good for such small speakers. Once you configure it, it connects automatically to wifi and to your Google Drive or Microsoft Onedrive accounts. Updates to the operating system are provided automatically. Now for the caveats.

Definitely getting refund, its defective and doesnt work right. I go to tap on screen and not letting me type anything, Slow and lagy.

I love this tablet. I bought it for when Im traveling and need something to study with. So many functions.

College lectures notes taking by handwriting and drawing using the S pen on this panel is very convenient and efficient, no more bringing paper notebooks to lectures and classes. Doing Math homework that show steps to solution is great on this panel too.

All around it just works. Snappy response on all features I use. Havent tried the pen yet, otherwise Im a power user.

I pre ordered my tablet directly from Samsung.
