Its a great concept, but within a year it just started refusing to let files be written to it. It also becomes very difficult to mount to use. Ironically, I purchased the SSD because I was worried about the reliability of the regular external drives, all of which are still working fine.

Ive bought several of these and use them for routine data transfers and backups. Theyre small and power adequately with the included USB or USB C cable. Theyre built well and would recommend them as a backup solution. They also have impressive read and write speeds that could be limited by the workstation you use. Make sure youre on a USB C or a 3.1 to maximize peformance.

If I ever need another one of this ssd I will reorder from you.

The instructions are not clear and the letters are small. Brought because of brand and recommendation but not happy with the product so far.

The hard drive failed and wont work after less than two years of use. Disappointing, especially after how much these SSD drives cost.

I read the reviews and as some have said, when you are moving large amounts of data, it bottlenecks, gets hot and slows down to almost a stop (lowest it has gone so far is 300kb/s), yup, not MB’s. I only have 100GB’s to move and it says it needs another 22 hours. My other drive I want to back up has 450GB and it stayed 1 day+. So far I’m not impressed. And just an FYI, I’m using new computers with 3.1 2nd gen, and lightning ports.

@ At this moment as Dec 05, 2021, SuperDuper nor CCC backup applications do NOT work with Monterey so this drive will NOT bootUp the computer.

Very small and light weight. Looks great and works well.
