I purchased the 4GB about a month ago - great for giving photos to friends and family. With the 8 GB I can add more and even short video clips. SanDisk is a trusted name and these little USB drives fall right in line.

Good, cheap, and large storage. And fast enough to stream a 7gb digital film directly from the drive. I wish that they came in assorted colors so you could tell them apart.

I bought two five-packs for handing out copies of some pictures. They recorded the images and were delivered at a great price. How could I have done any better? I cannot testify if they will work reliably for thousands of read/writes or USB insertions. That was not my need or experience.

Only used 3 so far - no issues - am using them for boot USBs for our household machines (Vista, Win 7 Win8 and Server) for backup and for boot issue resolution along with R&D on other test machines - if ther are any long-term issues i will update this review - so far soo good

Very good price for very small good quality thumb drives. They are individually packaged and placed together in a small plastic bag with two small cords. Odd that they only give you two cords but the drives are fine and the price is right. Take note that Amazon has a 16 GB version for this drive for about one dollar more, sold individually. If you do not need five, or want more storage, consider that alternative.

I deliver high resolution images to my photography clients using these SanDisk Cruzer flash drives. They are light and easily portable. They are compatible with both Windows and Apple systems.

As usual, I read the one-star reviews first before I decide to buy. Some people had issues, so when I got them, I put together 27 megs of files for testing. I would write the files to the drive and then move them back to the test folder overwriting the original files. I repeated this process 6 times for each drive. Im not sure how else I could have tested them before the return window closed. I am glad to say that I had no issues during my tests. The read/write speed would have been nice to be faster, but hey, my laptop is ancient and, as these are rated for, I am limited to usb 2 and probably early on in that version as well. I got these as restore media in case my laptop loses its mind and I need to format and re-install, and these seem suitable. I would recommend purchasing these if the speed suits your needs.

I bought these for my elderly Parents as they have expressed a desire to document all the items they want to leave behind for their four children after they are gone. My Mom is writing down the items as well as taking photos and then I shall be transferring that info to the Cruzer jump drive that has that particular childs name on it. Hopefully this will make things very clear during what will be a sad and difficult time for our family. Together with my parents I suggested this solution even though shes not computer savvy. She takes the photos. etc and then I transfer the info to the correctly marked pen drive. These are nice and small and I kept one for myself to put my medical records to keep on my key ring. That way if I am unconscious and taken to hospital, the emergency room personnel can pop it in their computer via the USB port and see my info. They also have a bit of security feature added but I havent used it yet. As I was originally looking for 1 or 2GB drives I found these were actually a better buy and with 8GB each. Great deal. There were 2 lanyards instead of five. Not sure why that is but that wasnt an issue for me as I always change my lanyards to be long enough to wear as sort of a necklace, so about 20 or more.

needed one, but got the 5pack since it made financial sense given the cost difference. use one for home, for work, for school, for whatever. never had a problem with sandisk memory products.

It is nice to have several of these for casual transfers of lots of photos or music to friends and relatives.
