SanDisk Cruzer Ultra 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive SDCZ48-016G-U46 up to 100MB/s (Pack of 5)

After trying many Flash Drives, I have decided to try a brand name. The drives were delivered within a short time and perform much faster than my previous Flash Drives.

Half of the rear of the device is hollow on the rear when extended. I have some a little older and the build feel 10x better. When retracted the plastic slider fill the hollow void on the rear. Wanted these for music but will be returning due to the over dumb design

I gotta say I hated having to buy these because I try to store everything in the cloud... but sometimes you need a flash drive and when you do this is a great one. And the 5 pack of them come in cheaper in the long run... hope I dont have to buy again but if I do it will be these!

All 4 flash drives did load and download information correctly. However the SanDiskSecureAccess software supplied with the flash drives is defective. Software first wants to update its software. I did upgrade two flash drives and both ended with an Application called PrivateAccess_win which when clicked states it cant find the right path for a file it claims to have put on C drive. I really do not want security software writing to any C drive without permission. I did not upgrade the software on 2 flash drives and ended up with the normal SanDiskSecureAccessV3.01_win application which allowed me to enter a password, it gives the normal login and vault display but will not accept any files. Gives error “This vault could not be loaded, it may be located on another computer of the original vault file has been manually removed” I use ScanDisk vaults on perhaps 9 other ScanDisk flash drives with no problem. Not worth returning these will just trash them.

I keep a iso of every version of windows and was having trouble get some of my drives to boot. Sandisk drives solved my problem.

Large size - Fast upload, best price for usb of this size. - pack of 5 perfect. Believe me, I searched long and wide needing many to upload genealogy files/photos/videos for each of my family. These worked great.. and again - super fast transferring. I keep ordering this product set.

Bought these purposely for my Roku TCL TV’s to set up Live TV pause on the HD Antenna input. Works as expected. Time will tell how long they stand up to the constant read/write usage.

These drives are great and the price is right. Hopefully, you can see the speed test in the attached screenshot with average read time 161.9 MB/s and average write time of 36.9 MB/s these drive are very fast. The product is very good and a good bang for your buck. By the way, this is my second purchase of these same drives. You guessed it (I Like Them).

I only gave it a 2 star rating for storage capacity since there are much larger flash drives available now at a reasonable price. However, I bought these for Windows 10/11 install or repair drives which they work great for since Windows only requires a minimum of an 8 GB flash drive to create a bootable installation or repair drive.
