I used these parts to upgrade my mayflash F-300 stick and I couldn’t be more happy the install was simply and easy only took 15 minutes.

All the clips on the cheap joysticks in my Pandoras Box retro arcade console had broken and rendered the console useless. Purchased a couple of Sanwa joysticks and buttons as replacments. It changed the experience entirely. The responsiveness is better than when the console was new. One note: the default configuration has the restrictor plate in 4-way mode. Most will likely prefer it in 8-way mode so dont forget to change the configuration before installing.

Sanwa make the best that money can buy, and these are the top of the line. An absolute joy to use, to work with and to look at. Consider the 8-way octagonal plate if you are a fighting game fan. The stock 8way square plate is nice too, but the octagon is even better.

If you are building or modifying a stick, you cant do better than Sanwa for value and classic feel. I wont recommend japanese over korean parts, or vice versa, but japanese parts feel clickier and more standardized in a way. Look elsewhere if you are looking for the feel of korean machines.

When the package arrived, it was a small box tightly wrapped in bubblewrap and tape. The label said MADE IN CHINA. Sanwa Denshi parts are from Japan though. I suspect these are clones. I didnt bother opening nor installing this stuff. Insta-return. If you want genuine parts for your fight stick, order from specialty shops like focus attack or arcade shock. Theyre not even that much more expensive, and at the time of this writing they were equivalent in price. Theyre legit Sanwa, but as others have complained the buttons were cramped into this small box with the joy stick and they came scratched as a result.. disappointing..

missing a button. i was so happy til i realized there was only 7 buttons

Work fine but one of the buttons had damage on them? It still works but sad that its so heavily scuffed out of the box. Im guessing its due to them cramming all the parts in a tiny box. Edit: updating this review. The scuffed button actually is broken. The actuator is not as responsive as the others giving it a completely different feel.
