The grip does what it intends to do, provides a comfortable grip while playing on handheld mode for long play sessions. I read to plenty of reviews prior to purchasing the grip and the worse thing I found is that the grip does in fact leave marks on the switch. The best thing to avoid this is to actually apply plastic tape inside the grip itself, exactly as I have shown here.

Put it on my switch, haven’t taken it off except for traveling. My only regret was I didn’t buy the case to fit both.

Grip adds an amazing amount of grip to holding the switch in handheld mode. The angle on the grip has a natural feel to it makes it feel as if youre holding a regular controller instead of the cramped position your fingers naturally rest in when trying to hold the switch due to the shape of the joycon. Would definitely recommend, especially for teenagers & adults with larger hands.

I was complaining about the grip and how heavy it was but it is definitely comfortable and worth to pay! Its so freaking great! my husband had the old version, he likes for both but it fit perfect for him since he has bigger hands, but I love this newer version especially if you have smaller or medium hands.

Since I cant rate the item without rating the whole system idea separately I have to give one star. The grip deserves 5 easily, but to not offer the case on its own isnt fair to the customer. I didnt have $50 at the time so I just got the grip and love it. Got a few extra $ to buy the case but they dont offer it alone. So I have to spend $50 now if I want the grip and matching case since its past 30 days and I cant return the grip. Just sell each item at $30 or $35 and offer the bundle at $50 like you do know. Giving the customer the option and you make more $ selling the units separately.

Does the job exactly as planned. So far I dont have scratchs on my joycons, but I am regularly checking. The grip is comfortable.

for me they’re the best grip for the switch so far.hopefully they’ll come out with more colorways for the pro cause when i got mine they only got the black one which i ended up repainting mine.

I love the grip. Easily one of the best Switch extras Ive ever used or owned. Makes handheld so much better. Buttons are easier to reach, less fatigue in your hands after playing for a while. Great build quality and materials. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a switch.
