> 24 hourI used this case together with the adafruit 2.4 LCD screen hat, and it all fit together inside the case. The cutout for the camera ribbon cable is a little annoying though since it ended up right in the middle of the LCD, but I suppose those folks using cameras really appreciate it. The cutout for the GPIO is handy and well-implemented. Im one of those people who does a lot of interfacing with my raspberry pi projects and easily accessible GPIO is a huge benefit. The case seems sturdy, yet is very lightweight. Ive had no trouble with anything cracking. It assembled easily. Previously my development pi (i.e. the one that floats around occasionally being connected into various projects-in-progess while I design them) would float around without a case, but theres always the risk of shorting the board out against some unnoticed junk on the workbench. Its nice having at least one pi in a sturdy little plastic case, while still having access to GPIO. I might buy a few more.

> 24 hourThe case is good quality and seems to be functionally well-designed. But there are three clips on two opposite side of the case. You are supposed to press the Pi board into them so that it can be secured. I spent some time figuring out how to put the Pi board through those clips without putting too much force on the circuit. Here is the way: you put the board into two clips on one side first, leaving the other side hanging out. Then you put the lid of the case on the board. Press and lid and try to snap the case into closed position. The case edges will put pressure on the board evenly and snap it into place. Done.

> 24 hourNotice: This is a review of my own making, I did NOT receive any compensation or product voucher or free item. I purchased this for my own independent usage and research. Summary: The case offered what I was seeking at a fairly reasonable price. It offers a reasonable amount of protection to the board, keeps it slightly elevated for better airflow on the underside, and allows for visibility of the circuitry and LEDs. Pros: *Reasonable price. *Clear case to see circuit board and LEDs. *Vents on the underside for improved airflow *Screw holes for wall mounting *Easy access to USB, Ethernet, Power, HDMI, and Audio. Cons: *SD card is difficult to remove on Raspberry Pi 3, as it is a pull release instead of a push-pull, and the SD card can only be grasped from the top of the card. (See pictures) *No ventilation on the top of the board over CPU for cooling/airflow purposes. *Case arrived with several scratches, small chips, or breaks, but was otherwise usable. *Case was a very tight fit, had to force the board in place. I suspect the case or board may be damaged or scraped upon removal. Untested/no comment: *I did not make use of the ribbon-display port, camera port, or GPIO pins. I have no comment on their accessibility at this time. Installation: For installing the board into the case, I followed steps similar to reviewer Y. Wang on January 7, 2016 you put the board into two clips on one side first, leaving the other side hanging out. Then you put the lid of the case on the board. Press and lid and try to snap the case into closed position. The case edges will put pressure on the board evenly and snap it into place. Done.

> 24 hourI use these cases to help keep the Raspberry board clean. No screws for mounting the board are supplied and the required screws are a bit of an odd size. I cut down longer #4 plastic screws.

> 24 hourI was looking for a non-aluminum case that had proper wall mounting screw holes. IE the screw heads are protected and wont accidentally contact the board. Its pretty hard to discern that from the product descriptions. This is a simple plastic snap together case that has the cross type holes for wall mounting and there is plastic behind the holes. IE the screw head will contact plastic instead of the motherboard. Works great.

> 24 hourI am very happy that I purchased this case. I tried building my own basic case, but it turned out crappy so I decided to just buy one. I really wanted a clear case to be able to see the Pi through the case, and Ive been waiting a while for a good case to show up on Amazon, so when I saw this I decided to give it a shot. Combined with a Pi cobbler cable, this a must have for the Pi. Installation was a piece of cake - just snap the two pieces together and youre done! The case seems sturdy and protects the pi from getting damaged when working around it. The little embossed port labels above each port are a nice touch. No complaints.

> 24 hourI didnt use the case with a Raspberry PI but a different size compatible board. The case was pretty easy to assemble, the board snaps into the bottom part with minimal pressure and attaching the top part was just a matter of aligning the ports and slightly pushing to snap it in (my board has an IR module that was a tight fit, Raspberry PI doesnt have that so its probably even easier to assemble the top part). The case stays together pretty well, I havent had any issues with neither the case parts nor the board coming lose, even after disassembling and reassembling it a few times. As a bonus the 12 rib vent holes on the back are close enough to 3x3cm that you can attach a 30mm fan there. I got this fan and it fits perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3TVVC7/ (on the outside of the case, bolts from the inside and nuts on the outside, there isnt much space below the board in the case) The cables are just long enough to reach the pins on top.

> 24 hourProtect my raspberry from being accidentaly damaged by scissor, other components. Few bucks for a more relaxed usage. Every slot match perfectly with all the sockets around your raspBerry Pi! The base has wall mounting holes (thats a plus) and the board can be kept in position using only the base (without the cover). In my project I used the base to stick the board inside a forniture (using the wall mounting holes), but I didnt use the cover as Ive mounted a daughter board with some dedicated circuitry. Its totally worth the 5 bucks.

> 24 hourGreat for the Raspberry Pi B+, 2B or 3B, but not so great for the ASUS Tinker Board. The Tinker Board follows the same form factor as the Raspberry Pi3, so it was a surprize it didnt fit. I have 3 other Raspberry Pi cases that fit either. It seems the Tinker Board PCB is a tiny bit thicker, so it wont snap under the clips in this case. No problem for me, since I could swap it with one of my other cases, but if you are looking for a Tinker Board case, look elsewhere.

> 24 hourBought this for the RachelPi project. Made an offline internet incase the internet goes down someday. Somewhat of a prepper type project but better safe an sorry.
