TLDR: Thankfully out of all the bad reviews I gambled and I got a good working monitor and it seems to be working as promised so far. The headphone jack is garbage but fortunately, its not a deal-breaker because the monitor sound is good. Its really only 18 and they may leave it at your door in the product box so all your neighbors and passerbys can see you bought a monitor. Read full review for details. So Ive been shopping around for a couple of weeks now trying to put together a decent little gaming computer and when I finally got around to shopping for the monitor... heres this lovely monitor for only $88.... cant be right. I click and read through the specs....this cant be right. Then I look through the reviews... about 300/4000 (4/11/2020) reviews were 1 stars with sound issues, screen issues, power cord issues, one-and-done then never coming back on, and just plain crappy craftsmanship. That being said... the numbers.... 300/4000 are what convinced me to at least give it a try... I mean for $88 bucks and with amazon return/refund policy the worst that would happen is that I get a dud and I just dont repurchase the monitor and I find a better one. So I ordered it. PROS(ish) I received it today.. plugged it in... and held my breath as pressed the power button. IT LIVES! Theres one big complaint/ 1-star rating worry crushed. I hook it up to my laptop... I jump over to Youtube to test the sound... IT SINGS! Another hurdle/ 1-star rating worry crushed. I then unplug everything and properly set it up ( I didnt set up the stand or other bits because I didnt want to have to re-wrap and pack if I got a dud)... I set up the stand and place it on my desk with my other things and plug it up again... IT COMES BACK TO LIFE! I put in my copy of Avatar to test the 1080p they boast about for the monitor and IT LOOKS GORGEOUS! CONS So now most of my biggest 1-star worries are crushed however there are 3 non-deal-breakers that I have with the monitor. It has an audio jack for headphones but the sound is so grainy and theres a lot of noise. I tried several different headphones and they all sound like garbage unless you turn it down to lower volume where you cant hear the noise. SO while the sound from the monitor is great the sound for headphones is garbage. Next, 20 they say? I dont want to make a boys can measure joke but... its really only 18... so if youre really looking for those extra 2 they arent there. Lastly, is a shipping issue... the box they ship it in is the product box, like fresh off the shelf at a store. Guys, youre sending this to someones house/apartment?! Thankfully I was home when it was delivered and I got an email from Amazon letting me know my delivery was close by BUT what is I hadnt been home? Someone could have easily seen exactly what I ordered and taken from my porch. While I understand that Amazon/Whoever-sold-it is not responsible for porch theft ... you could at least make it more discreet and lessen the chance of someone wanting to steal it. Thanks and May the odds be ever in your favor

For the price, I think its probably a pretty good monitor. I have been using it for about a week and havent really done anything with the settings buttons yet. They are on the back by the way, which makes it a little more difficult to make adjustments. I would say this though. If sound quality is important to you, I would look at something else because the speakers in this one leave a lot to be desired.

Ive had this monitor for over 4 years and its still running strong no issues. Its worked so well for me that when i bought my new 1440p main monitor, i went with sceptre again. Now, I wouldnt use this for a primary monitor as its not even 1080p, but for a secondary monitor for things like discord, spotify, podcasts, movies, etc. Its good enough.

Clear picture, turns on immediately and is clear and bright. I wanted an inexpensive monitor, and I dont think you can beat it for the cost.

I love my monitor and highly suggest to buy it because you WILL not find a monitor that is under $70 with this quality. The time you take to find it the price of this monitor might change because it’s quality equipment. Most monitors this price range is used and a lot don’t even have an hdmi but this one does. Screen resolution is great as well. Sometimes the screen will show up purple and then I have to power it off and back on to get it back normal only once. That’s the only thing that is strange so far but I am satisfied beyond that. Thank you

Working from home, you need a couple monitors, at least. I bought 2 of the Spectre monitors, and they work and look amazing. I also bought 2 stands to prop up the monitors for eye level viewing. Great picture quality, perfect size, easy to set up. Definitely worth the price.

After almost 3 years of working from home 3-5 days a week, I could no longer stand staring at my 13 inch laptop screen. A single mother on a tight budget, this was the only monitor I could afford. Arrived quickly, very light, took about three minutes to set up. Color is vibrant and picture is clear. My only complaints are the height is not adjustable, and it seems to tilt forward slightly. But for the price I really can’t complain. I’ll just get a taller riser. Lastly, it’s small but I knew that. Would probably pay the extra $15 for the 22 inch if I could go back in time but alas that capability has not been perfected yet. And can I really complain after working from a 13 inch monitor screen for so long? Probably the first day working from home in a while where my head doesn’t hurt after work. Will update in a couple of months if this thing is still with me! Final thoughts, if you’re looking for a decent monitor to do basic things on and have less that’s $80 to spend, grab it!

It is very important to download the drivers before setting it up as instructed. I still wasnt getting a signal. Just as I was about to pack it up I unplugged it and waiting a few seconds and they plugged it all back in just in case and low and behold it finally got a signal. It was like daring me to ask for a refund before it decided to work. Now I love the graphics for duo monitors. Not crazy about the speakers sounds though. Good thing I have better speakers already.

I got this monitor to help with my at-home workstation. It doesnt exactly put out the prettiest of pictures, but its not the worst, either. I havent used it for gaming, only for spreadsheets and the like, so I have no idea how it would hold up to games, but for my purposes, its a decent little monitor.
