Schlage Flexible 3/8 Steel Looped Security Cable

I bought this to secure my expensive ice chest while camping. Turns out I didnt have to use it. But it is a solid product. Seems like the diameter measurement is of the bare cable itself and not the plastic sheath that its in. So you get a thick cable. Locks and cables deter only honest people. I believe this could be cut with a large cable cutter, but who carries one of those around? Overall, a quality product.

Beefier than I thought. As stated above, certainly not a deterrent to a serious thief (but what is these days) but certainly will make anything it is attached to much less attractive to the smash and grab common criminal. Good buy.

Need a big long steel cable with lockable eyelets on the ends, than you cant go wrong with this; its big, long, made of steel (they even coated it for your comfort), and it has eyelets on the ends for use with locks. It does the job I needed it to do perfectly, and it was the best price I could find of any comparable products.

Needed a long cable to attach all family bikes together. Look very strong so thief would try thinner cables first.

Wanted one of these cables to supplement my bike U-Lock. I looked at all the bike lock brands On Guard and Kryptonite and found that the Schlage and Master lock cables are the same if not better quality than the Kryptonite and On Guard steel cable and much cheaper.
