Schluter Kerdi Board 12x20 Shower Niche (1)

Great product as is all Schluter products I used but Niches are labor intensive which adds significantly to costs and or your time. I would probably look at shelving and other alternatives if I did this again.

Super easy... and works like it’s supposed to

The shelf is way too thick to use. We made our own. Also one side of the niche was loose and not glued. We pulled it together with duct tape on the back and ran silicone along all the interior seams. Installed the defective seam at the top and pray it doesn’t leak. Other than that all went well. Took about a week to arrive. We like how it installed flush to the wall eliminating the need to feather a overlapping type of niche. Be aware that you do need to tape (additional product) over the lip of the niche and the wall. This was not mentioned in the product description.

If contractor didnt complain, I cant either. Originally bought it at home depot for $135, so it was amazing to see it for $80 on amazon. Worked great and really nice to be able to adjust the center shelf height.

Very easy to install in our master bathroom. We will use this again for our hall bathroom remodel next year. After comparison shopping Amazon has the cheapest price but it’s still expensive.

These work like a charm, plan your spot after board is up, then install back and sides. Best plan after that is rondec on the face with 4 inside corners in matching finish. Rondec R100 is for 3/8th tile. RO80 can be used with subway tile( but then you can just use bullnose tile). Anyway, then try and finish one row below. The next day you cut the tricky ones on a wet saw and go to the ceiling. Goodnight sleep tight.

So it works no issues. The price is ridiculous

Easy install and great addition

Great shower self insert system makes it easier for tile to be installed. Turned it 90 degrees so shelf space would be taller.
