Much better than buying several packets of needles. The box saves space and is much more convenient to use. This is a preferred style of packaging if you use very many needles of the same type (like on a serger). This also brings the cost of the needle down so that you are more likely to replace a needle (or needles) when they should be.

These needles popped up in my search for Schmetz Microtex needles. They are the same size and much cheaper so I thought I was getting a great deal. That is till they arrived and I saw they were just household needles. I should have paid closer attention I guess, they really should be listed in a search specifying Microtex because the Microtex are extra sharp and these are not.

Work perfectly - loved the small box packaging and the way the needles are secure in the box.

If you sew (and quilt) a lot having lots of fresh needles is great. These are good quality and great price.

We use these for sewing machine repairs.

This is the way to buy machine needles. I change my needle after ever big quilt I sew. so buying 100, these will last for a while. This Is the brand I always buy.
