Great stuff! So easy to activate and the colors are so true - LOVELY!

This paint is professional quality, however there are much better sepia shades out there then this one, mine was very badly cracked and flaky when I received it,and compared to my other sepia colours it just isnt the best. I recommend royal talens Rembrandts sepia instead.

Arrived and received what I expected

Arrived 22 days after shipping (from UK to USA). Nice fuschia color. The only bummer is that these half pans are smaller than US half pans, so not as much paint :( You can see that in my second photo.

Schmincke is an excellent brand! I have 3 of their watercolor tins and many of their tube paints. An instructor required that we get neutral tint so I went with what I knew to be trustworthy. Schminckes neutral tint is NOT neutral. Its VERY red. If you need real neutral tint get Holbeins.

I hate to keep saying the colors Schmincke are great, but when thats all you can think of to say, I guess you gotta say it again...sorry. But I have been falling in love with these. I have tried many others but find these are far better. Color is true, transparent and so easily activated. Even when dry, it comes back with no chips or flakes! Well worth the money.

Beautiful natural skin tone base. With this I have a great base to start any skin tone, including some lovely darker tones. Would recommend for any portrait painter
