Schmincke - HORADAM® AQUARELL - finest artists watercolours, glaze orange - 15 ml

I normally love this brand, but the Mars Brown color is a disappointment--very dull.

Satte Farben, super Maleigenschaften - eben Horadam Qualität. Selbst als Anfänger/ Laie ist das Kreativsein mit diesen Farben eine helle Freude, auch wenn sie definitiv preisintensiver sind als manch andere Marken. Aber es lohnt sich!

As expected excellent

Ive had some problem tubes from other shippers lately (getting squished and even possibly-exposed denting), but all the paint tubes from this seller (and full pans Ive bought) are well-packaged. Oh, and point of the review: this is the best cerulean Ive tried, with the M. Graham PB36 and Senneliers cinereous blue (phthalo and white) coming in behind it. Its an easy lift, expected granulation (but not crazy, which I fear is a bit trendy and could date our paintings), and mostly Schminkes cobalt azure is just a very nice hue. (Im not a fangirl of brands: the PY175 is too easy a lift with no tinting strength, and I dont understand some of the earth colors.) Series 4 so its not a cheap paint, but its worth the cost. Tints out nicely, too. Havent pushed too many mixes yet, but just very impressed. One of those paints that make you smile and say job well done, German company that cant name paints! LOL

Schmincke watercolor paint does not need any recommendations. It is superb.

Excellent quality. Painted a double portrait of an African-American child and his Caucasian grandfather using watercolors.

This was surprisingly more granulating than I thought. Initially,out of the tube, it appeared somewhat opaque, but once blended out, it was quite lovely--especially when mixed with a deep green.

Never used Schmincke watercolour paints before. I am very pleased with the quality. I will continue with this make gradually replacing all my colours with Schmincke

Im not an artist by any means but I do love buying and using artists watercolors. I once used student grade water colors and I actually didnt enjoy painting as much as the difference was too noticeable for me to keep buying them. My absolute favorite are Schmink, W&N, Daniel Smith and more recently purchased Mission gold water colors from Amazon and am so impressed by them. I have favorite colors within each different brand and am so happy that Schminke finally started to sell Opera rose pink which they never did which is my favorite color of all time. You wont be disappointed. They are expensive Inlike to buy the colors I love and put them into a pan and let them set overnight.

Hohe Pigmentierung, sehr reine Farben mit sehr guter Leuchtkraft, egal ob man lasierend transparent oder mit wasserarmem Direktauftrag malt. Nicht billig, aber lohnenswert. Diese Farbe ist eine Ergänzung in einem preiswerteren Farbkasten mit Studio-Markenfarben. Ich werde mir zu Weihnachten einen kompletten Horadam-Aquarellkasten leisten, so begeistert bin ich von der Qualität.
