This isn’t a stand alone item. Once I got it, I discovered that it recommended that I use another product with it (another buffer that I can’t recall right now). So two stars for not providing that info in the details.

Too much buffer and you will get a wild pH swing, so use with caution. Still, I recommend.

I have used this product before, so for me its a reorder, the product work really well, yhats one of the reasons Im reordering it but the other reason is, the price is good as well, and fast shipping.

cannot get the ph to work out when using this and acid buffer. however, my water quality seems to work out for kH.

So far so good...does what it says. Raised the pH almost immediately and it maintained it; I didnt need to keep adding more daily. No harm to my fish or plants.
