> 24 hourThis product may work. but the bottle is basically just water. The only good thing from this company is prime Alternative solutions like Thrive all in one fertilizer is much more concentrated and convenient . Check your self with rotalabutterfly.com/nutrient-calculator.php

> 24 hourGreat product! If you have a planted aquarium, this product is a must. Easy to follow instructions for beginners. Seachem also has a dosing calculator on their website, as well as a suggested weekly chart for dosing your aquarium. Great for beginners and pros.

> 24 hourDosed this according to instructions in my heavily planted, co2 injected 10 gallon, and within 3 days I lost two fish, a harlequin rasbora and a gorgeous black orchid betta. I had zero fish deaths in this relatively new tank prior to this. Naturally, I dont know for sure that this is what caused it (although it was the only change Id made recently), but with such a strong coincidence Im reluctant to use it again. Prior to using, my parameters were 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate. I suspect that if anything, it wasnt the product but the sudden change that killed them. My remaining harlequin rasbora does not look happy, either. Hopefully it will pull through.

> 24 hourResults might be microscopic because after using it for bout a year I see no visual difference between the tanks I use the product on vs tanks I didnt use the product.

> 24 hourThis product does provide nitrogen to the aquarium but be aware its not super potent: Its 1% Nitrogen - 0% Phosphorous - 2% Potassium. The actual chemical content of this is potassium nitrate and iminium salt (urea). Im of the plant keeping school that says: test your water then add back the deficient nutrients as opposed to the estimative index school (but thats a debate for another forum). To hit 10ppm of nitrogen in a 55 gallon aquarium you need about 10.4ml of this product. Id suggest you look into using dry chemical potassium nitrate. It really is cheaper, easier to work with, and does the same thing (without the name brand label & price) I bought this, but blew right though it in no time because of the low concentration. I say 4 stars out of 5 because it is pretty expensive for how little nutrient youre getting.
