Hooked right up too my gen one Xbox one, just had too plug it in and configure it which is made very simple with on screen messages

Bought this for Xmas for my son and he cannot play any games that are loaded on to this without transferring to internal storage which is why I bought this for him! We have Xbox series X and this is garbage. Way to go false advertising and yes formatted it on the Xbox and still nothing
