Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S 1TB Solid State Drive - NVMe Expansion SSD (STJR1000400)

When it first came in the mail, I plugged it in the Series X and it had trouble reading it. But after unplugging it and plugging it back in then resetting the Series X work perfect. Been a few months and no hiccups since.

Fits and works for my Xbox Series X, just like an SSD.

As title. I have an Xbox series X (AKA Xbox 2), I knew that when those AAA Xbox titles start hitting that the HDD that came with the console just wouldnt be enough. As it was, it was barely enough already since all the games I had from the Xb1 era (& a few before that) transferred over. I also have a 2 TB external HDD, unfortunately that simply wouldnt work for those games in my library that have the X/S label (except for Skyrim). The ability to move the data from one HDD to the card is REALLY quick. So far those games I have installed on the card have worked from it with no issues.

Useful, but way too expensive

Having an easy nvme expansion drive is awesome. Just needs to be more comparable to the 2tb drives available to PCs at a similar price point.

Super easy to install. Just basically plug and play and then hit the button to change the location of where you will save your files.

It’s a great device but with already some years in the market it’s price needs to go down it’s just too expensive.
