I have a copy of this Bible and have so enjoyed it broken up in daily readings to complete in a year. We have a friend on dialysis and he remarked that he was trying to read his Bible in a year. This is an excellent Bible in which to read the Bible through in one year. It divides the Bible into daily reading of Old Testament; New Testament;Psalms or Proverbs for each day. I purchased this Bible for a partner in this years adventure.

I actually completed the book in less than a year. If you always wanted to read the Bible cover-to-cover, then this is the book for you. In modern English, Seasons of Reflection provides an orderly and contextual progression through the Old Testaments Psalms, and the New Testament that enabled me to comprehend the richness of the messages. I highly recommend this book regardless whether you have read the Bible before. It will provide new lessons and a bright perspective on the Word of God.

Inspirational and interesting combination of several O.T. paragraphs followed by several N.T. paragraphs, several Psalms and Proverbs which walk one through the Bible with daily readings. Love it!

My favorite daily devotional reader!

The dated readings keep me on track with Daily QT. The comments in front are very pertinent for reflection on topics of faith presented. Have used it for several years in a daily time of devotion along with a hymnal. Highly recommend it for continued pursuit of things spiritual.
