> 3 dayThis hole saw is an excellent value for a hole saw this size. Being over-size at 6 1/4 inches, the competitor wanted $75 plus shipping. I just did a cut through 3/4 inch pine and it cut quickly and cleanly. The depth is not as much as in a more expensive hole saw, 1 1/4 inch vs. 1 3/4 inch. The only problem I had was that the arbor did not thread into the saw. I had to tap the hole in the saw with a 5/8 inch X 18 tap, and that solved the problem. Luckily the threads were American and not metric because this is made in China. At first I did not like the screw in arbor pins but this is more secure than a friction type locking pin method. My old friction set lock pins is losing its friction and the pins jump out of the hole saw pin holes, making removal difficult. It takes more time to screw the locking nut over the locking pins, but it is a secure lock. As a bonus they included 3 center drill bits! The only reason I did not rate this a 5 star is the need for tapping the threads for the arbor in the hole saw.

Greater than one weekThe locking chuck was a little loose but it worked quite well. I mean it’s a hole saw. Not brain surgery. Lol
