Before buying the superior Sennheiser brand, I bought a cheap eBay knockoff and was sorely disappointed with the sound quality. So glad I tried one more time by getting Sennheiser instead. The sound quality is excellent and crisp. No static or distortion whatsoever.

WOW. I just received it about an hour ago, plugged it in and WOW. What a difference in clarity of sound. Great quality and sounds way better than the other one I had been using. No turning back. I will buy another one for my another amp.

These are the best 1/4 to 3.5mm adapters Ive found, they hold tight in my Benchmark DAC and allow the 3.5mm cable to be removed while the adapter to stays put which is what I wanted. If you want the adapter to pull out with the cable the screw-on kind are probably better. They are more expensive, but compared to the equipment / headphones Im using them with, I would use anything less.

The other reviews say it all honestly, its not magic, its not some special material, its just machined better than cheaper alternatives with tighter tolerances and fits your connectors more snug, resulting in a better connection and no nasty static or crackling caused by wiggle room.

It was something I needed.

Quality As expected

I got 2 other jacks before this one and both did NOT work. Got this one expecting it to do the same because I thought it was my input that was broken, but this one worked.
