I had stopped using this for quite some time bc I wanted to try something else - a flashier cooler toothpaste. I also have gum disease so I have inherent issues with that as well. Unfortunately after awhile my sensitivity came back. I finally ordered some more Sensodyne and Im so glad I did. It really does help my gums and teeth be less sensitive to hot and cold. There are only two toothpastes on the market that I would use and this is one of them ...

It is comparable to the prescription a bit cheaper for that matter, same ingredients.

There is almost 30% price increase since I bought this toothpaste last time from Amazon about a year ago. We loved the Cool Mint version that we had purchased earlier. But for some reason that is not available anymore. But this is a good product and we are very happy with it.

As a toothpaste this is just fine. A little bit goes a long way and foams up nicely. It tastes great like youd expect from a premium brand like this. Now onto to sensitivity it actually works! Ive had a lot of dental issues over the years and my last few teeth have had pin spots of pain recently. About 10-12 days after I started using this toothpaste I noticed a distinct diminishing of the pain I was feeling. A premium but worth it!

Minty fresh and good for your teeth. She likes this product and we found that the price on Amazon was much less than the local CVS or Walgreen.

Recently, I opened a package of my favorite candy (sour belts), and after taking 1 little bite, I could feel an intense pain in one of my molars on the right side of my mouth. The pain persisted and didnt go away for a good 10 minutes. Sadly, this meant I had to put my candy down (RIP). Afraid of experiencing the same pain, I stopped eating anything sour and started my search on amazon for a toothpaste that would help with tooth sensitivity. Sensodyne is the brand I landed on. It is considerably smaller and more expensive than your normal tube of toothpaste. It came in a 2-pack (not the rapper, haha?) and averaged out to be about $5.50 a tube. I would describe this as a middle-class toothpaste price. Moving on. Flavor: Not much of it. Kind of disappointing, and your mouth will probably still be stanky. Have some mouthwash on hand. Did it help with my sensitivity? IT DID! After using this for approximately 1 week, the sensitivity in my right first molar had gone down almost entirely. Does this story have a happy ending? Do I get to go back to my sour belts and experience the bliss of yummy sour candy. YEP. I tried my favorite candy and the pain is no longer there. NICE! This is a good temporary option until you get to the dentist to fix the root of the problem (lol root get it?). I give this a 3.5/5. Its a little expensive and it doesnt really make your mouth smell good, but it gets the job done sensitivity wise.
