> 24 hourI use this from my ubiquiti dream machine pro to my ubiquiti 16 port poe switch. Please note I failed to work with older firmware (1.6.8) but once udmp was updated to latest (1.9.3) it works great.

> 24 hourTo get this to work, I had to do two things: - Use the bottom SFP port of the US-24-250W - In the US-24-250W config > services > priority > Set to 4096 or lower - In the US-24-250W, set port 26 link speed to 1Gbps FDX - In the UDMP, set port 11 link speed to 1Gbps FDX - Make sure there is no other cable attaching the two units together or youll see an SFP blocked notice on the port on the switch side The lights on both SFP+/SFP ports should light up if done correctly.

> 24 hourThis DAC worked perfectly for a Ubiquiti UDM-Pro and a Ubiquiti 24-port PoE switch. I was concerned Id have to change the settings to specify 1GB instead of 10GB, but it seems to have autonegotiated that rate on both devices. I only wish there existed a slightly shorter cable, as even this length was a little more than I would have liked.

> 24 hourIm using this with a Unifi Dream Machine Pro and a switch (1GB). Once the ports are configured correctly, this cable works fine and saves you an ethernet port.

> 24 hourObviously it’s very short, designed co connect two 1U devices that are one above the other. It says do not twist the cable, but you have to twist the cable to plug each end in.

> 24 hourBought this to add to my home lab and connect UDM pro and Cisco C2960S and it does nothing. I went into the CLI and tried to force in the terminal the acceptance of 3rd party SPFs and not even that worked. After much googling, I think that I just need to get another cable. Will return this and give it another shot tomorrow trying new things. Dont buy it for CISCO.
