> 24 hourI ordered this to replace my first Shark (same model number) that finally died after almost 5 years of service. While this one has the same great suction, I was disappointed to see the shortcuts that were, no doubt, done to keep the price point. This one does not have the smaller power head, crevice tool down graded, and most aggravating, the cord is a good three feet shorter. Glad I keep the attachments from the first one.

> 24 hourThis product is best for vacuuming underneath objects like coffee tables and beds! It does a great job; enough suction power to remove dog hair and loose carpet fibers.

> 24 hourI’ve pets, cats and a dog along with bare floors. So the grit is a constant battle. I’ve gone through MANY a vacuum and they have all failed in one way or another. I’ve been using this vacuum for a little over a month and thrilled with it! It sucks up the grit, it’s easy to empty and clean, and the most surprising feature is the carpet suction! Like surprised and gross out surprised! I wasn’t expecting much when I went to vacuum the bedroom (which had just been vacuumed by a more traditional heavy vacuum ) and what I heard was surprisingly effective!! It was sucking up litter from the carpet that I didn’t even know was there (we changed from letter to pine pellets a year ago)!!!!! The suction power is amazing! Love it!! It is heavy up but easily manageable. My only suggestion to any new purchaser is to get the extra filters. Once the filters are “full” the suction reduces and or goes to none. Over all a great product! Thanks Shark!

> 24 hourSo far I am loving this vacuum. I was debating between corded and cordless, because I hate a cord, but didnt want to give up power. Ultimately this feels plenty powerful and the cord allows me to reach much further than my previous (dirt devil) vacuum. Speaking of the old vacuum, I vacuumed a small section, then hit it with the shark, straight out of the box and 3 or 4 rows of vacuuming filled the dust cup. I think this shows 1) effectiveness, and 2) why I say the cup is slightly small. It could be that as I use this vacuum, I am less annoyed by the small cup as the carpet will be less dirty. Overall, even if the cup always fills up, Id buy it again. Great power and effectiveness for the price.

> 24 hourThis vacuum is light weight and easy to use!! My other shark would not pick up cat litter. It would always kick the litter back out! This shark on the other hand is great! Must have!!

> 24 hourI have 7 cats and only 4 areas with carpet, so I didnt need a big vacuum since most of my home is hard flooring. Found the HV322 when it was 43% off, so $150 for a vacuum wasnt a bad cost. Ended up filling the cup twice using it for the first time in my smallest bedroom and let me tell you, that was eye opening. Im sure any brush roller vacuum would have done the same job but what I like about the Shark is: -lightweight -easy to maneuver -2 power modes -bright light -decently long cord -easy to remove dust trap -brush roller indicator light -quick release is high on the stick so you can separate the motor portion, add a crevice tool and hit those tight spots -caught it at a good sale price What I dont like about it: -doesnt stand upright on its own -dust bin requires you to use your hands to clean out fuzz/hair that collects around the filter. Not a huge deal but does make the process a bit messy. -absolutely worthless on hard floors. Youll feel all the trash get kicked back onto your feet and legs from the rollers. This is on the low setting, which Im guessing the brush rollers only turn from the air being pulled past them and not powered by the vacuum. Still, at that low setting, its too much brush action. I have 2 x Mieles I use for hard floors and nothing will ever beat them at that.

> 24 hourEdit - 12/2/18: I still love this vacuum! It functions as well as it did on day one, and cleaning the filters every month is super easy. Being bagless, I love that you don’t have to keep buying things as you go. Also, I just got new, high pile, thick shag rugs a few weeks ago, and I was a little worried they would snag on this vacuum because of the reviews some people left on the rug site, but I haven’t had any problems with this vacuum! I just use the first setting and don’t stay too long in one spot. When I want to get trickier things like dog hair off the rugs, I use the special motorized pet attachment and it works really well without snagging the rug at all. You won’t be disappointed with this vacuum! The one thing that is a little annoying is the crevice tool sometimes falls off if you’re jostling around the vacuum a lot (which you will, because this thing is so flexible and goes everywhere), so just make sure to really stick it on there when you put it back. I also love how easily everything comes apart and new attachments slide on. Everything glides and fits so well, and it feels sturdy. I vacuum once or twice a day because of my dog’s double coat, so it really has stood the test of time. I would definitely buy this vacuum again if I had to! Original - 6/26/17: Omg, I didnt think it was possible but I am in LOVE with this vacuum cleaner. Im the type of person who painstakingly researches all of my purchases before going through with them, and this vacuum was no exception. The reviews were great but this vacuum surpassed my expectations. It is light enough to be able to vacuum comfortably but it packs some serious sucking power. I used to have an inexpensive handheld before I got my American Eskimo Dog, and it showed to be no match for his extreme shedding. I was stressing out because a lot of models, even specifically pet ones, had many negative reviews about the hair getting caught and having to stop and remove it several times each vacuuming session. This product has been amazing and Ive never had a problem with anything, especially hair getting caught. I also have long hair (to approximately my mid-back) that winds up everywhere... Sometimes I wonder how I have any left on my head. This vacuum picks everything up like a champ. I clean the roller after every few sessions to ensure there arent any problems. I have a 650 square foot apartment with tile (kitchen and bathroom), laminate flooring everywhere else, and several area rugs (two of them are thick, shaggy ones that my dog loves to lounge on). The True Pet motorized attachment cleans them like brand new in a matter of minutes. Youll be amazed (and maybe horrified) at what it picks up from carpet/rugs. I empty the canister once per session or so when I vacuum the whole apartment, which is great considering how much it picks up. I cant even begin to tell you how pleasant it is to do everything with this vacuum. Moving it, swapping out attachments, and even detaching the handheld top portion to use by itself is a dream. Everything glides in and out so smoothly. I had to struggle with my previous vacuum to attach the various pieces which was really frustrating and led to chipped nails and an annoying experience. It also overheated several times during each session and would shut itself off, so I couldnt clean the whole apartment with it at once. This model never overheats or loses power. You dont realize how much little things like that matter until you have something better. The vacuum has two suction settings: powerful and tornado (not really but youll see how strong it is). It is not too loud though which is really nice. It also has washable filters so paired with the bagless canister, you dont have to waste money replacing these items. The close to $200 price tag seemed a little high to me at first, but after looking around and seeing how high other models go and compared to how amazing this one is, I cant imagine myself using anything else. It makes it a joy to clean. It stores nicely either on the floor (you remove the top handheld portion and hook it on the bottom) or there is a wall attachment. It takes up very little floor space and honestly, it looks nice so you wont mind if it is visible. There are also lights on both the main floor attachment and the handheld attachment which are amazing. You can see all the little dirt and debris and can even vacuum in the dark if you want to (when picking up dog hair its actually almost easier to do so in the dark because of how well these lights work, especially at angles). This vacuum will not disappoint you.
