I did not need 5, just 3 for my boat. But quick links are things you do not know what you can use them for until you have them. They will not be in my tool box for long. And if I need more I would order them again.

looks like they do the job an feel sturdy..using it on 3/8 chain..1/2 wont be a problem either

Easy to use and quality product.

I used 8 carabiners and chain to mount a 90lb air filter from my workshop ceiling. Works great and they are plenty strong for the job.

I use this to keep the lid closed on an outdoor garden bin. No rust even after a few months of frost, rain, sun and sea air. The threads have not deteriorated either, screws on and off as easy as brand new.

These quick links are very sturdy and easy to use. We got them to use with our goats. My husband has always used the quick links with his hounds but they have gotten really expensive at the local stores. We needed some more so I bought another set of them. I really recommend these.
