> 3 dayThese thermometers are in my brooder box for newly hatched quail babies. It is important that the temperature be between 95-100 degrees the first week. As you can see in the picture, the thermometer probes are right next to each other in the brooder box and both register a different temperature (101.8 & 98.6; 99.9 & 103.3; 102.8 & 99.1). The brooder heat lamp is in a fixed position and yet these temps keep fluctuating. I dont want to fry my newborns or have them die by not being warm enough. Time to get a decent and correct registering thermometer. Dont waste your money on these.

> 3 dayI’ve ordered these a few times This is my 3rd set and out off 12 only one was bad! They heat up super fast and seem to be right on point with the temp in my tanks ! My family also use these and we have never had an issue !! Definitely worth the money and money well spent ! I’ve also have not had one single bulb stop working

> 3 dayGreat for keeping baby chicks warm, but theyre prone to go to light, not just the heat. However, you still must have a light bulb for the chicks to go to the heat.

> 3 dayI bought both the heating lightbulb and 2 lamps. All are phenomenal and very sturdy. The lamp itself has a super strong grip which was my main concern because I didnt want it to fall into my tank. It also rotates and holds its place easily. The lightbulb is heavy and good quality. I have a 50gallon tank and 1 lamp/bulb heats the whole 1 side of the tank perfectly. I havent left it on long enough to test its limits I just use it for temp control for my hermit crabs and turn it off around 75-80. FYI the heating bulb makes the metal lamp shade thingy really hot, which should have been obvious to me but I was just really excited putting it together and burned my fingers a little bit trying to turn it.
