My son is a chunky 20 month old and the 2T fits great with lots of room to grow. The quality and weight of these shorts is so great, definitely worth the money. My son will be in these all summer and at the beach, cant wait!

Ive purchased this style of shorts for my son from Carters before and loved them. These ones arrived and I washed them right away (before letting my son wear them) and one of the pairs came out of the dryer with a large hole in the seem on the side. Im not sure if it was there before I washed them and I just didnt notice it, or if it happened in the wash, but either way I was disappointed. My son hadnt even gotten to wear them once! I purchased a size 9-12 months and they fit as expected. They are soft and a nice, thick, stretchy material, but they should be more durable/of better quality for a baby to crawl around/maneuver in.
