> 3 dayWhile I wanted to install this into the main computer already have a 512GB NVMe installed there. Could not find any generation 3 SSD enclosures so used one that has a built in fan to transfer files across three computers. This is fasted than using other external drives, a much smaller footprint, and far easier to use as a portable SSD drive. If it were a 1TB NVMe I would of purchased software to clone the current SSD to the SK Hynix Gold. This is one super and dependable SSD - and quite fast.

> 3 daySSDs are a dime a dozen and the gold standard. Performance wise this is upper tier. I can confirm after going to install windows from my USB 3 flash drive on my new build, I had windows fully installed and booting in less than 10 minutes. Thats ridiculous.

> 3 dayThis is easily the best 1TB drive for the money. At $135 its well worth it, but you can find it as low as $114 on sale. The performance is great and much better than your typical Sata SSD. I used to only buy Samsung SSDs, but the prices they command are getting to be too much. This drive is a great in that regard. If they ever release the 2TB Platinum model, Ill be getting that one for my next build.

14-04-2025Love the packaging (eco friendly) and yet it feels so premium. Double the TBW of samsung but slightly slower (not noticable) speeds from other users tests. I dont care, this drive will last me a much longer time and I am very happy with it!

Greater than one weekI dont do video editing or anything that requires intense storage access, so I cant vouch for the data transfer speed, but so far its been reliable for normal everyday use. This is my first NVMe drive so I was not familiar installing it, but installation was straight forward after watching a simple YouTube video. This drive replaced my old Samsung SATA SSD as my main boot drive. So far so good. Hope it stays reliable for a long.
