> 24 hourThis alert literally saved a huge supply of frozen breastmilk within the first few days of using the alert. Coincidental timing but I am beyond thankful!

> 24 hourFollowing a service call from on my 9 month old LG refrigerator to correct a sensor problem causing the food in the freezer to thaw I decided I needed a WIFI sensor. I wanted a device that would monitor the temperature and notify me when the temperature rose above my setting in the freezer and refrigerator. After reading the reviews on the various products available on Amazon, I decided to give the YouLink Wireless Temperature / Humidity Sensor a try. After installing the YoLink Android APP and creating a YoLink account, I was able to add the HUB, and the two sensors by scanning the QR Code on the back of each device. I plugged in and connected the hub via the provided Ethernet cable (WIFI connectivity is also available). The hub status changed to online in the APP. I pressed the SET button on each sensor and its APP screen status changed to online. Each sensor immediately began displaying the temperature and humidity matching the information display on the sensors. I placed each sensor in the refrigerator and freezer sections verifying their accuracy with a separate temperature sensor. The Alert setting for high/low temperature and humidity were easy to setup with the APP. I find that the Alert notifications are almost immediate. The documentation provided with the hub and sensors is very basic, easy to following and gets the setup done quickly. I received links from YoLink on the additional more advanced setup options via email. I called the tech support number with some questions on Saturday and was able to speak to a knowledgeable tech support person. So far, I am impressed with the YoLink Wireless Temperature / Humidity Sensor and highly recommend it.

> 24 hourBe aware of what you buy. An other brand I bought only works on Bluetooth so you only have phone/app readings when you are near them. But this product works on wifi, so you can access them anywhere thru an app on your phone AND get phone alerts for temperature or humidity. The charting/history granularity is one hour minimum however alerts can be set for a minimum of 10 minutes. That all said if you wants alerts because of a power outage, then your wifi may be out also so you would not get alerts or readings without some backup power source. The units are battery powered and with a battery status icon on the app. The hub unit plugs into ac power. It can be set up via cable to a router or via your wifi network.

> 24 hourWe have a refrigerator out in our uninsulated garage. I wanted to monitor the temperature for 2 reasons. ONE, during the winter I want to ensure temperatures are maintained. TWO, this is an old fridge, so I want to be alerted if it stops working altogether. I love that these monitors collect a history so that I can easily keep an eye on things. I found the setup to be very easy and quick. I connected directly to wifi using my Eero system. I love that there will be alerts sent directly to my phone so that I can take action ASAP. I just installed this today and I will absolutely update my review if anything changes.

> 24 hourFirst off I have another system I bought on Amazon that has no communicating Hub between the sensors like Yo-link does! What that means Is much longer range that I needed to reach my outdoor enclosed well pump house my ThermoPro sensor couldn’t stay on line kept loosing signal till I could physically get back to my lake cabin and unplug it to reset it then after I left it would go offline again within a day or so! The Yo-link reaches the pump house with ease! But better yet it also reports to my phone via the app when temperatures dip below or above the temp range I set to be notified about if that happens! Also the sensors use two Tripple AAA batteries it comes with alkaline, but I chose to instal lithium which I know lasts up to 5 years in the frozen tundra where I live in Wisconsin from my experience with other weather stations units I had which used an outdoor sensor but they were not WiFi capable just sensor to station which sets on a table in the house. Yo-link has its own WiFi hub that’s only about 5”X5” square and less than a inch high that connects to your router and is powered by a usb cable and plugs into any power outlet, this hub is the only part that plugs in and powerful long range communicates with as many sensors you want to place in and out side of your home! So you can put them anywhere no need for power for every sensor like the other brand has to have, and the other brand doesn’t have the hub to broadcast to and from the individual sensors that’s why you get the long range, the other brands sensors has to each connect to your WiFi individually and they are finicky as to where they pick up signal! To far away or inside another out building without WiFi and you don’t get connected! So I was really pleased and surprised with Yo-links performance, and it solved all my problems for about half the money of the other brands price!

> 24 hourFirst, setup was very easy. After calibrating all of the sensors (I have 7 total) I put one in each room and one outside. I can now check the temperature in each room from anywhere. Theres only two issues Ive had so far. 1) after setting up the hub, it downloaded a couple hundred GB of data from the internet. I checked the firmware for all of the sensors and the hub but they were all up to date. Id like to know what all that data was for. 2) it works with Alexa... as long as you only want to know the temperature. It doesnt show the humidity and you cant use it as a trigger to turn on the dehumidifier when the basement humidity gets to 45% or to turn on the fan when the room gets to 74°F, for example.
