Hardness is almost same as wood floor. No cushion at all. Immediately returned it.

We love these. They are the perfect thickness for our son. Our baby boy is one of those babies who likes to throw himself back when he gets frustrated or wants something and does not get it (can be quite dangerous for a baby) so we needed foam with a very strong but also soft and thick base. This one is perfect. We bought two in order to use them with our play pen!

This is the second order we placed for this mat. We combined the first and second order together, creating one very large soft foam play mat for our two children. Combining two play mats together created a super large play area for our childrens play room. You can put this play mat down on the ground and put a play pen surrounding the perimeter which creates a fun and safe place for your child to play. The mat is made of super thick foam and is very high quality / is well designed. The mat is also extremely easy to clean and is non-absorbent. From all of the research I did before purchasing a play mat, this mat definitely seems to be the best quality and most well designed mat on the market.

As all the other reviews have stated, this is a very good thick padded play mat. Easy to put together. I gave it the 3 starts because #1- I dont feel the price is worth the size that it is (fairly small) and #2- anywhere that I have placed this mat on my real wood floors, it has made the area EXTREMELY slippery! No where else in the house are my floors slippery except where I have placed this mat. I dont know what it is but Im definitely not a fan as I have 3 kids. Two being 2 and under and my 2 year old has already slipped where I first had the mat. I mopped the area and it didnt help at all! So I guess just be aware? Idk if its just me or if anyone else noticed this? Other than that, its a good mat for those head bonking babies!

Love the thickness of this mat! So cute in my living room!! I have 2 100lb dogs, they walk in it all the time (to my dismay) and have only made a few small puncture holes that you can barely see. So easy to wipe down and keep clean

To easy for my 4month old to roll through. It slowed her down, but not for long Lolol

I LOVE this product. We purchased 3 complete sets to cover a large area of our family room that has ceramic tile. I wanted something that matched our decor (color wise) and provided cushion for our 1 year old to play. The mats fit in perfectly with the decor and was incredibly easy to put together. Because its in the family room there is some traffic specifically our beagle comes in and out of the dog door and will track dirt and mud from the side yard. We simply take a warm washcloth with some dish detergent and wipe down any dirty squares. I also vacuum weekly (or as needed) and do a thorough wipe down. Weve received several compliments on the mats themselves from other parents after playdates and asked where we bought them. Ive provided the link to at least 3 other individuals.

I purchased this for my 15 month old granddaughter and she loves it. She loves the animal shapes and the softness of the material makes it very safe should she fall.
